McAleer is an idiot. Heavy snow storms are an expected side effect of global warming. Anyone with a basic understanding of atmospheric science knows that. McAleer has obviously not bothered to even understand what the argument is. He's just spewing stupidity and Fox News is eating it up. Beck and Hannity have made the same stupid comments. It's obvious these people are eating science books instead of reading them.

Why is that so difficult to comprehend? Even scientists who argue against climate change wouldn't make such a stupid statement.

There's nothing extraordinary about increased AVERAGE GLOBAL temperatures producing lower REGIONAL temperatures and increased rain and snow in SOME parts of the world, as cold fronts get pushed around and atmospheric moisture content increases. There's a gigantic difference between climate and weather.

That's is one seriously incoherent statement. Why would I ask a geologist? That's not what geologists study. Do you ask your mechanic how to remove an appendix? What is an "evolution scale?"

No shit Sherlock. Again, nobody is arguing that without CO2, climate wouldn't change.  The argument is that increased CO2 is [accelerating] climate change faster than the natural cycles and once it's in the atmosphere it isn't easily removed. Even the scientists arguing against AGW all agree that CO2 is a greenhouse gas. They just argue that it's not enough to matter, so your "absolutely nothing to do with CO2." is just plain stupid.

Where did I say anything about Gore? The issue here is whether McAleer is using [intelligent] arguments. There are decent arguments against it. However, snow storms are not one of them. You will not hear a scientist trying to use snow storms as an argument. Why? because it's stupid.

Ignorance is not a virtue. If the temperature of an air mass is increased, it can hold more water. When it then runs into a cold front, there's more moisture to create snow. There's nothing controversial about it. It's basic physics that even a 6th grader can comprehend.

Coming from someone who doesn't even bother to understand the basic arguments (for OR against), that statement is meaningless but certainly qualifies as "your point of view." Of course there couldn't possibly be anyone with financial interests who would do whatever it takes to discredit the science. If you want an example of a scam, try researching the history of the "Wegman Report." Note, it will require the use of a brain.

Watch some videos by Richard Lindzen (MIT Professor). He doesn't agree that AGW is a problem but at least he uses real arguments and not stupid shit like snowstorms and isolated cold snaps.
