WJOB was a radio station in the Millikan Building back in the 1949s. I went to a radio show there occasionally when I was a kid living on Calumet Ave in the 1940s. My schoolmate Del Casher who has a YouTube channel also started his guitar playing show business career at WJOB. I remember Minas and Goldblatt's.
Great video!! So exciting that MAHP is finally uploading new videos! I bought a few of them from you in 2004 and love them! Ah the Minas Building - I became interested in the history of downtown Hammond right around the time it came down - never got to see the State Street side until it was opened up. Thanks for finally letting me see it!
