  • 1976!

  • Still brings a tear every time.

  • Hi! I’m a student from Madrid, Spain. I have 18 years and I want to improve my English. I would like to speak English every day to someone who lives in the U.S. When I finish the career I probably will spend a year in California, Nevada... So I would like to speak with someone there to learn about their customs. I do not offer anything just chat. I love music and usually listen to bands like Green Day.If anyone would like to talk to me my email is erica.arredondo@hotmail.com Thank you very much.

  • Cool

  • Cool

  • I still think that Mick Taylor gave the Stones music a beautiful feel to it. Their best music was created when he was with them. Ron Wood tries too hard and has never been anywhere near Taylor

  • keith richards leva com maestria toda a musica...como sempre e em todas.

  • Mi versión favorita de esta magnifica canción, gracias a Ron wood que hace un solo muy bonito.

  • 1976 paris friend...and billy and keith best. OKAY?

  • In this Time a get an ANGEL in the SKY

  • billy preston's organ break sounds so good...

  • dieses lied muss jeder mögen der diese zeit miterlebt hat wo gefühle noch nicht virtuell vermarktet wurden, freude, trauer, liebe, ohne internet gelebt u. weitergegeben wurden.

  • When Keith wrote this song, he was in a rehab clinic and had a really nasty withdrawl. So he wrote this and used it to work his fingers and arms. He didn't know it yet, but Anita was giving birth down the road. She wanted to name the baby Dandelion, but it was a Catholic hospital, so the nurses gave her the name Angela. The connection was a complete couincidence.

  • Ronny was hot that night !...

    Absolutely mind-blowing version

  • but....paris in 76.....! no 75.

  • angie keith!@

  • Super! very good concert. I had the sound on k7. Here the image. thank you for this video. good memories.

  • @WeirFaithful I agree too. You are soooo right and to rburge2 There are thousands of great musicians out there. I happen to be one of them. There just aren't many innovators. Myself included. It's extremely difficult to be innovative these days. It's sort of like everything has been done. Musically speaking the 21st century so far has lost musical innovation.

  • angie moonlight mile and i got the blues gotta be my top 3 stones songs just too good for words

  • angie merkel!

  • This reminds me of Zeppelin’s “Tangerine"

  • i still love you bby<3 everywhere i look i see your eyes, there ain't a woman that comes close to you; come on bby dry your eyes*

  • This is my all-time favorite Rolling Stones song. My friends all ask "Why is your favorite song about a girl? That's kinda weird..." and I simply say "Once you've heard it, you'll know why. It's not about the title, but what the songs lyrics say to people." It's the best ever. :)

  • beautiful.....been my favorite song all of my life

  • They didn't use acoustics at this concert at this concert did they? There's a Wild Horses with 2 electrics as well.

  • amazing

  • who is angie ????????

  • @bobidu53 The song would have you think it's about a lost love, but it was inspired moreso by the birth of his first daughter, from what I've been told.

  • Does everybody have an "Angie"??

  • @herms21420

I had one once, but only her name is Chrissy! :-)

  • what a treat - thanks for posting this mello-man.

I was 4 at the time of this recording and I'm still kicking myself for not going to this show

  • MICK WE LOVE YOU

  • Well, they did. Watch Get Yer Ya-Ya´s Out! unreleased tracks.

  • I always felt that when the Stones were in concert that they should include an acoustic session in which they play Angie, As tears Go by wild horses etc. Maybe they they have done so in the past but I don't remember them doing it.I mean like like what Zepplin has done.Sitting down with just acoustic guitars

  • Not as good as 73 but , but Angie still sounded good in 75-76... Ive never heard an 82 version, Id love to hear that just out of curiosity.

  • @Weedahoful Not sure if they played in on the 81- 82 tour...

  • @CFKMAN Not 81, but it was played a lot of times in 82...

Check out the site rocksoff.org. for the definitive guide to stones set lists

  • great piano, guitar and keyboards, not so good the vocal.

  • @999marydoll

ohh dude this are the fuckin' best vocals ...this is rock'n'roll

  • OMG Really!! you said Robert Plant never wrote anything? Dude Really? U need Mental help!!

  • im so proud that my name is Angie !!!

  • This song had to be Written by Robert Plant and given to the RS's. How Jager sings this song has Robert Plant all over it!!!

  • @bsmdb Go see your doctor, RP has never wrote any song.....sad, but true...

  • @TheTomppa72 ...seriously...what planetary moon have you been languishing on that Robert Plant never wrote anything?

  • awful version ... not that the original is that great

  • VAI TOMAR NA OLHOTA DO CÚ QUE M NÃO GOSTA DOS STONES!

  • 29 poeple have no loving in their souls

and no money in their coats................

  • i love this song allways have. as i read the words above it just reminds me of a couple in herion addiction. beat down, and broke. with no were to go, and no one to turn to not even each other. of course thats not always my interpretation. its just because iam watching intervention, all day

  • If you like classic rock check out Sound of Fans on Myspace

  • sucky version.

  • look no clearly

  • It still gives me chills too. Even having heard it hundreds of times. That says something.

Such a timeless and hauntingly beautiful song.

  • When i hear this, it still gives me chills...all these years later, and i get to thinking : we, who were teenagers in the 70ies, were SO lucky to have our minds awakened by such Musical Innovators, such as these guys and a few others ...

We were part of a creative 'explosion' whose daring forays opened the way to everything that came later.

I'm am so happy i lived that era.

There are still some good musicians out there, but no real Originals.

Lots of looks... w zip behind.

    just my opinion.

  • @WeirFaithful i agree, but you and i know they are out there, on the street soldering. just aren't mainstream.

    :)

  • @WeirFaithful I envy you

  • @WeirFaithful I agree with everything except one thing. Who are the, still some good musicians out there?

  • @WeirFaithful : Agree!

  • @WeirFaithful No real originals? Maybe you aren't looking hard enough, or maybe you dont care enough to look around. I tell you, just like the generations before yours, there were great musicians, and there were after 70s as well. :)

  • @WeirFaithful Oh, I think there are still real originals out there, some are even genius. Difference is: They don't get signed. That's why we don't know them. The major labels fear innovation and creativity. To keep the commercial risk as low as possible they only sign musicians who stay within the mainstream. Today Jimi Hendrix would be a cab driver, Jagger would be unemployed and Janis Joplin would be a waitress in a cheap motel in Texas posting some vids on youtube now and then.

  • Bravo !Mick Jagger etait trop beau

  • Great song by the Rolling Stone(r)s!

  • Angie...I still love yoy baby.....

  • Great post-by the way-1976.

  • favourite group at the best city!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember going to this concert at Les Abbatoirs, Porte de Pantin (new venue at the time!). This was the stand-out number. The Meters were pretty cool too.

  • es la canciòn más romántica y triste que estos ingleses produjeron en su época más brillante.

  • 1. ROLLING a joint

    2. Being STONEd

    ;)

  • Breathless;;

    <3 RS

the crap these days cant compare

  • rock,n roll

  • Rock On

  • with no loving in our souls

and no money in our coats

    you can't say we're satisfied...

these are some of the greatest lyrics ever

  • @dani1928 vids not brill well it was a long time ago but still wrote brill lyrics i personally say they slung out great songs regardless.

  • Genial

  • Angie is a song that will still be around when this generation is no longer among us.

  • Mick total forgot lyrics in this live xD .. He repeats 2 times : " I hate that sadness in your eyes " instead of " with no loving in our souls etc .. " Drugs drugs drugs :)

  • jesus christ almighty can keith play guitar or what! this is the year i first saw the stones, but in glasgow, not in paris... omg keith slays me lol

  • MJ= Juggalo

  • SEE THE 1973 VERSION Ô¿Ô

  • I would rather hear the audio only because the video is very bad.

  • beautiful song, but this version sucks :-/

  • NICE

  • As much as I miss Nicky Hopkins beautiful piano solo in this, Ronnie plays an understated lovely guitar solo & Billy Preston knocks out an equally soulful organ solo; as well the entire band sounds great here!

  • @donedave I agree... it would be another 6 mmonths or so before the Faces last concert, I wonder if Rod Stewart was backstage as this concert was taking place? :) You're correct though, Woody rocks here, makes mick Taylor look like a beginner.

  • @PhilipK100 So you should listen again some live versions with Mick Taylor and wash your ears. Even if Wood is good, he's not Taylor!

  • beautiful song!!! but mick's voice sounds a little like tired, i don't know, maybe was a period of excess ajaja

  • is that billy preston?

  • @TheWelfareCadillacs Yes he is :-D

  • C'étais en 1976 aux abbatoirs. A voir dans Love you live.

  • like both mick taylor and ron wood solos of angie. Indeed taylor's is better, in technique :P but ronnie's gives me more energy XD :P

  • I wish I lived this era!!

    today's is crap!!

  • @yvesttt i did this era

    your'e right today is shit

  • "With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats

You can't say we're satisfied" Keith Richards

    ROLLING STONES 4EVER

  • Did Mick flub the lyrics at 1:45?

  • Great live rendition electricfied sounds & Hammond B3 sounds super.

  • I'll never tire of listening. Heaven is near.... I smell, but Bush will not be there.

  • Poor old Angie must be pushing around a zimmer frame at this stage, with three kids and fuck knows how many gran kids. Good old days eh? Let's hope she lived a version of her dreams in the end...

  • MICK IS LAST DICK !!!!!

  • Very emocional version.

  • in fact that's 1976 concert aux abbatoirs...

  • Jagger sings so much better when he's NOT dancing around

  • Wood sucks as always. taylor kicks ass

  • superbe version live de ce tube imparable des Stones en 1973 !

  • I like to bow for a master.. I´m bowing..

  • Yeah, but Richards wrote this song, like all the others. He is the standard. When you learn to bow you learn about self respect.

  • mick taylor cannot be beat when it comes to the solo for this song. sorry ronnie but youre just not in the same league. great song whoever plays the solo though. Viva MICK TAYLOR!!!!

  • how sweet was billy preston on this?? go boy..

  • This is the 1976 European Tour in Les Abattoirs

  • the guitar and jaggar are so close jaggar might as wel have been playing the guitar himself. Amazing friendship.

  • So why dont you tell us now Angie? Where did those clouds all disappear?

  • Why these dreams we had seemed to all go up in smoke? ;)

  • what ya all don't know is that Angie was deaf and mute lolol

  • @Focoist911 When will they disappear.

  • why dont u ask her?

  • @Focoist911

Totally the wrong lyrics... I'm drunk and I know that. It goes "When will those clouds all disappear?" You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • Hello friends I'm spreading my music hope you like it

  • Jagger's lucky - he hasn't lost anything over the years.

  • J'ADORE

  • @JaneGilAvi

    moi aussi, tres belle version

  • Why didn't they show us much of Ron Wood here. ? Woody Rocks! Lovely solo :) Anyone else agree?

  • yeah the solo is wonderful:) best rock and roll band evah! best live too:)

  • Wasn't in the band then

  • Yeah he was, This was the LA Summer '75 tour that Woody did with the stones - 6 months before he did the last faces concert in December 75. Blimey to have worked with both Rod and Mick 6 months apart must have been cool :D

  • no :P

  • Ron Wood didn't come til later. He started with the Black and Blue album. This solo was played by Mick Taylor. The Stones best Lead guitarist EVER! (Apart from Keith....nobody beats Keith!)

  • actually Woody was at Jaggers house in 1974 when Taylor said he was quitting the stones. Keith was the only guitarist for a whole year. Then Rod allowed woody to be a temporary stone for six months in Summer 1975 this was followed by Keith helping the Faces out in December 1975 for their last concert.

  • you both are clowns both bands rock , even these days....but right now we are listening to Rolling Stones so don't comment about TheBeatles , go on a song of The Beatles dude not The Rolling Stones............

  • you know what? I feel the same way you do!!

I consider that to be rude when someone is on a stones video and they comment about another band!! I don`t go to other videos and do that!

By the way this is such a beautiful version of angie thanks to the person who uploaded it.

  • cheers goutsougirl :)

p;s i have seen the stones in concert 3 times and never been disapointed but a girl named angie that i was fool enough to get engaged to sure let me down but that was way back funny thing this song wont let me forget her :)

  • yes BCNStickyMusic it is your opinion and an opinion is like an arse hole...every 1 has 1 now go fuck yourself...thats my opinion...beatles dead and gone long ago...stones stil rocking so eat their dust cheers to all from a greek canadian

  • Its music man. Its not football clubs. There is no use comparing one band to another. You can prefer one to another. Like Bach or Wagner.

  • i couldnt have said it better DunhillMick :)

  • you are a clown, the beatles do not rock like the stones-ever. stones rule

  • Parabéns Mick!

  • C O O L
