Blizzard might not agree with me, but I think if Losira had tech advantage (huge amount of T3 units), while MvP used mostly T1 units, it is pretty ridiculous that Losira lost. True, MvP did deserve the win (he played brilliantly), but it seems wrong to be able to win with T1 units against T3 army. No T1 should stand a chance against T3 (like Marauder being the hard counter to Ultralisk...).

Zerg should have attacked while ahead. At game time 27 min - Zerg is up 50 food and terran has no spread. Maybe the lesson from this game is don't stop when you're ahead.

This is reminiscent of how I lose all my games to toss and terran. They just wait behind walls, pick their spots, whittle down my army and then push when the time is right. Very frustrating. Zerg needs the equivalent of a planetary fortress or a lurker.

Great game by both players. A bit of a silly mistake by Losira to run into a terran siege line that's already spread-out like that.It was an even game after that, but the terran was more cost effective in the end because of his high medivac count.

This seems to happen to me all the time as well. I'll be way ahead of a terran, but late game he manages to claw his way back in with nothing but marines, or marine/mauraders... it just seems like they cost way more to deal with than to make :( Banes/festors=gas, marines are minerals only, and late game with tons of upgrades they are crazy good! Not crying op or anything, but they get darn frustrating to deal with

Losira also didnt chain his fungals and also sacrificed his brood lords. Not to mention there was no spores but all spine crawlers. Losira had that game won but MVp was able to exploit the fact that Losira didnt put any pressure on MVPs bases. If Losira took out that top base, it would have been his win.

@chapkaiking he switched into marine marauder right at the end cause that's what you need against ultra, the rest of the game was hellion > marine tank > marine tank medivac thor viking > marine marauder. so dont act as if MMM and imbalance was the reason MVP won this game, it's far more complicated than that. one obvious example (like husky mentioned) was the hidden third base.

I really can't wait for hots when zerg gets an actual seige unit. It feels like if terran has a good mix of marine/tank/viking that its impossible to break, and I only win ZvT in a drawn out 40 minute starvation game. I do think ZvT is balanced, but its the most boring matchup for me to watch. Unless the terran player makes a huge mistake, like running all his marines over burrowed banelings, the zerg can't break his seige line, and it becomes a stalemate for 20 minutes.

The problem with Zerg vs Terran is that one smaller mistake by zerg can just unbalance the rest of the game. Terran however is much more steady and safe to play. A very experienced Terran player is something so damn hard to crack...

Z threw the game away when he sat back with his ultras and let the terran tech switch to marauders and slowly maxed out his T army. It was literally 200 Z vs. 100 T for the longest time and nothing happened until the T moved out at 199 supply. It's never good when a Z just turtles and defend and wait for the opponent to attack, that's a T's play-style.

Lmao, Idra has an 80% win rate vs pros when going mutaling, not idiots on ladder. derpdaderp. Also, Lorisa didnt need to continue making muta because muta are OP for a critical phase of the game, after which he got expos up, while keeping T in the base. "MVP playing it properly" my ass, MVP basically made 5 thors. You complain about Ultra vs T1 infantry, why don't you also complain about how Thors are needed to counter muta, not to mention how pathetic of a job they do at it?

Also, Zerg have fungal growth as well. Fungal and Banelings both annihilate Terran infantry so easily. I feel like every TVZ game I watch zerg just dominate. Although this was a fluke win imo.

I still don't understand why Banelings haven't been nerfed. They are the single most powerful counter to their counter unit. They should at least blow up other banelings around them by default if one explodes next to another.

I realize Banelings are supposed to counter marines, but it just seems like all Zerg units save lone hydras are marine counters. It just seems so unfair how easy it is to baneling mine and annihilate entire armies of marines. I feel like you have to put in twice as much effort to win a TvZ as Terran. One direct counter is enough. And to mke it even worse, Zerg has two direct massive damage aoe's vs marines.
