The Qur'an encourages dhikr.There are no evidence on restriction on ways of dhikr.The Prophet (pbuh) also encourages dhikr which also includes dhikr until the munafiqun say to the dhakir that he is insane.There is no ijma' of the scholars on the restriction.So there should be tolerance.Even Ibn Taimiyyah recognises sufism and some of its terms such as sama',kashf,and saqr although he misunderstood the views of ibn arabi. So dear people, please read in detail:).

Islam is very simple. You don't have to trance when doing zikir. This is already out of real islam. Zikir should be done quietly without music.

This is big bidah and not from Islam. Suffis have taken zikr to the extreme. The Prophet did not do zikr like this and yes zikr is a good thing but not the way these ppl r doing it.
