    3. andrew bogut

    4. brook lopez

    5. andrew bynum

  • Ain't to many great centers in the nba today, back in the days they had a lot of great centers like patrick Ewing, Motombo, and etc.

  • you guys are wrong 1dwite howard 2joakim noah 3andrew bogut 4andrew bynum 5al horford

  • are you crazy dude? bynum? are you kidding? hes a complete retard. a dont know about the top 5 but the top 2 BY A LONG WAY are andrew bogut and dwight howard.

  • and david lee?

  • w8 how bout shaq?

  • 5. andrew bogut

    4. robin lopez

    3. brook lopez

    2. dwight howard

    1. YAO MING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(wen healthy) not only cuz im chonese x] he honestly is the best wen healthy in my opinion

  • to each his own i guess....

  • My top 5 centers are

    5. Andrew Bogut

    4. Brook Lopez

    3. Chris Kaman

    2. Yao Ming

    1. Dwight Howard

    Honorable Mention: Andrew Bynum

    Watch Out for DeMarcus Cousins

  • what? how is bynum a top 5 center? didnt even average 10 boards last year. chris kaman should deff be on this list.

  • @sunsalldayy13 even as a laker fan i completely agree. Bynum shouldnt be anywhere near this list.

  • kamannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • 5. Bogut

    4. Brook Lopez

    3. Yao ( when healthy)

    2. Bynum (when healthy)

    1. D-howard

  • HOW DOES AL JEFFERSON NOT MAKE THIS LIST!?????????? he number 3 on this list no doubt at least... 5 bogut 4 bynum 3 yao 2 jefferson 1 dwight

  • Bynum lol he should try to play at least 70 games a season (without playoffs) and at least 30 mpg cant see that happen without damaging his knee again.

  • 3:36 He cited Chris Smoove!!

  • 1) Dwight

    2) Lopez

    3) Yao

    4) Bogut

    5) Kaman

Bynum barely makes the top ten IMO

  • @FreshKiNg27 Al Jefferson???

  • @AC130Time1 True

  • @FreshKiNg27 he is my favorite

Imma Celtics fan and when he was on the C's was the ONLY time he SUCKED!

  • @AC130Time1 lol that sucks

  • @AC130Time1

he actually plays power froward but lots of teams put him at center because he is strong and can jump

  • @jaychauhan2998 He started his career at Center and barely EVER plays PF so i'd really count him... besides its MY list

  • @FreshKiNg27 i'd put Al Jefferson over Kaman

  • Jerry, you think Noah is a PF? I think he's a pretty clear cut Center at this point. He played Center in college and has always played Center with the Bulls as well. I like your list. I would rank Bogut over Bynum and arguably Yao as well. The guy is a pretty terrorizing presence on defense. His 1vs1 defense and help defense is at the very least 2nd team all defensive and he's one of the most underrated offensive centers in the league as well.

  • 1. Dwight Howard

    2. Andrew Bynum

    3. Yao Ming (only playin half of the time otherwise he'd be 2 on my list)

    4. Andrew Bogut

    5. Mehmet Okur (underrated)

  • i have to say, i actually would go with yao over dwight. i mean if i were to choose a franchise player it would be dwight because he is less injury prone. but when we talk about their game, yao is under rated in the defensive end. he might as much as dwight but his giant prescence really makes it hard for teams to get a good look around the basket. he is one of the most skilled big men in low post. he can shoot efficently as well.

  • @northcarolinaname now i still think dwights defense is better than yao. im just saying that yao is very close. and i would have to say dwights offense is over rated. i mean the only great offensive skill he has is great verticle and dunk. yes he can get some hook shots and use his strength but that also gets him in foul trouble. i really dont think dwight requires a double team. i mean if he's near the basket for a dunk then its over. but if not, then you dont have to fear his post moves.

  • @northcarolinaname and even though dwight is getting help from hakeem and other centers, i just dont see dwight shooting a faceup or fading away. but this is my opinion. i agree with jerry in nearly everything else.

  • i think noah and nene are definately centers. they got great size like 6'11" or bigger and they dont play like a pf at all. for the bulls they got boozer at the pf and noah at the center. before that taj gibson or hakim warrick was their pf.

  • Noah is 6'11". He's definitely a center

I like Lopez too, however at times he'll have a lot of trouble rebounding. Thats something you scratch your head at with all the height he boasts

Bogut is the man. Tough, tough loss for the Bucks last year when he went down. They could have battled with Orlando in the ECSF last season if they had had their center

I don't agree with Bynum at all. He's a china doll. Too often he's soft too. Still young, though

Yao! I hope he stays healthy the entire year

  • Yao ming a great passer out of the double-team? WTF??? I don't think Wilt ever worried about passing out of double or triple teams. If I'm 7'6, I don't care how many players are on my nutz, I'm still going to do what I do to your moms.......takin it to the hole!!

  • 5.Andrew Bogut

    4.Marcus Camby

    3.Andrew Bynum

    2.Yao Ming

    1.Dwight Howard

  • D-Hizzle is the number one center in the league. Yao is a tough match up, but his legs softer than a graham cracker submerged in milk.

Camby has to be in the top Fizive. Watch out for Greg Oden. He will be in the discussion once he gets healthy and back on the court.

  • bynum and yao have both been plagued by injuries how is that even remotely realistic? what about kaman?

  • 1. Dwight

    2. Yao

    3. Brook Lopez

    4. Bogut

    5. Kaman

  • @XDatsIgnantX agreed

  • THE CHINA MAN!!

  • 1. Scalabrene

    nuff said

  • @JxxPxxC hahhaha lmao

  • Did you really put Bynum over Lopez? Bynum has never played 50 games in a season so how can he be #3? I will take Lopez who is just AS good if not then BETTER for 80 games then Bynum for half the season

  • @DwgJustKd hell yeah man

  • bogut should be all star

  • Agree with that list, but personally I think that JoaKim Noah is center. He's very mobile and can guard powerforwards, but his offence is more center-like. Dwight Howard can check every powerforward in the league with no problem, cause he's so athletic and quick for his size.

  • 1. Dwight Howard

    2. Brook Lopez

    3. Kendrick Perkins

    4. Andrew Bynum

    5. Andrew Bogut

Perk is a very underrated player. If he was in Game 7 this summer, there would be 18 Championship Banners flying over the parquet floor.

  • @clearmoney789 i agree perkins is very underrated he is a beast

  • Why are Horford, Duncan, Noah etc not C's for you ? Actually they are C's, NEW ERA C's...20 years ago players were not as athletic, strong and quick as they are nowadays...thats why C's didn't need to take jumpers, be very mobile etc...

But you have to accept that basketball has changed a lot and if you can't hit jumpers or at least be quick you're in trouble most of the time...

  • Bargnani!

  • Maybe Al Horford played for POWER FORWARD.

But now i think he is CENTER, true CENTER.

  • love the Chris Smoove reference xD

  • i honestly agree with everything, but yao is number 1 because dwight has a terrible post game... dwight can dunk and everything, but when dwight is double teamed hes kind of screwed, and reason yao is better is because he can shoot

  • 1. Dwight Howard

    2, Yao Ming

    3. Al Horford

    4. Brook Lopez

    5. Chris Kaman

  • Hes from China man....cause he is ChinaMAN! Who doesn't love smoove ?!

  • lol Jerry using Chris smooves lines!!! hes the china man cuz hes from china man!!!

  • Great list, but would you consider David Lee a center or a power forward, because if he is a true center, he should be here.

  • Jerry when are the correspondents gonna start doin work

  • lol Chris Smoove reference

  • howard is the most dominate C in the nba by far! nice pick jerry

  • lol he's the china man cuz he's from china mayne! CHRIS SMOOOOOVE!

  • Good list and even better list. Agree with all of those names.

Some true centers I think are up there are Javale McGee, Roy Hibbert, Kendrick Perkins, and Chris Kaman.

  • @royalfrenchfrie24 Javale McGee is SO underrated, im glad someone else recognizes his talent.

  • Noah is a true C, he doesn't have the offense or handling to play PF. He's over 7 feet tall too.

Bogut is second best C in league. If bynum is their with all his injuries, then Greg Oden should be too

His per 36. he led league in boards and blocks

  • @CroRuption He's a pf and actually 6'11...

I just know that cause im from Chicago and watch all the games.

  • @BullsTalk23 ok well who in their right mind would play a limited offense player as a PF when hes much better suited as a C. Hes long, defends, hustles, gets rebounds, everything a true C does.

  • @CroRuption I think he's a true center, but that's just how he's listed, but I would put him at center.

  • @CroRuption well the Bulls would. They even made a line up where Noah plays PF and Omer Asik plays C because Coach Tom Thibodeau knows that he's really a Power Forward. Not saying Noah plays bad or good at either position, he plays good when ever he's in the game. But just letting you know that he plays C for the Bulls, he always has, but Bulls fans know that he's not really a true center.

  • Ilgauskas is also pretty good.

  • @voulgier whaaa-- he old..

  • @goplukies He's still a better center than most people think he is. Possesses a mid range shot, rebounding, defense. Yeah, he isn't that bad. What are you talking about old? Kobe's old he's still good (hate to admit that) Nash is old still playing like in his MVP nomination year.

  • and also chris kaman should be in there

  • ooo the season is nearing

  • andrew bynum shouldnt be there

  • @AmIFamizz agreeed

  • @AmIFamizz Bynum should definitely be here. If not him, who should be?

  • @22dab95 Like I said Chris Kaman.

  • @AmIFamizz Why Kaman over Bynum? How is he better?
