  • I don't have a favorite string brand to suggest. Use whatever electric guitar strings you like. For this tuning you may have to make your own set using individual gauges. The tuning is (from low to high) B D F# G# C# E. I think of this as an E13. The gauges are .42w .32w .28w .24p .18p .16p I like string gauges to be heavy, but if you want to go lighter take two thousandths off of each string--.40 .30 .26 .22p .16p .14p Happy playing and thanks for watching--Robin
