  • Man, its sad that these died so quickly...

How is the message board comin' along? I haven't checked it out in ages...

  • @LouisAndPillz Yeah. If you're getting back into tag, just come on by. People are still there.

  • In all honesty it doesn't seem to fire any faster than I could feasibly pull the trigger myself.

I'll stick with the grenade attachment.

  • how did u get it for the video?

  • @theletsplaymaster The video was taken at an event where the inventor was present and brought the prototypes.

  • @GregGaub ohhh, i really wanna know who the inventor of it is and if he ownes a company, i wanna see if i can buy one from him

  • @theletsplaymaster You can't.

  • @GregGaub i thought if i pay pald u money u cood get one to me from them

  • @theletsplaymaster What I SAID was to paypal me $500 and I would figure out how to get one. Do you HAVE $500 to send me for it? Say whatever you want, but I'm confident that you don't, or that it needs to be saved for more important things.

My point is, you're so unlikely to be sending anyone $500 for one of these that I knew I could say that without worrying about getting one to send to you.

Fact: The only existing units are in the possession of the inventor. They are never coming to market.

  • @GregGaub i was planning on paying 200$ or less so yeah lol. ok one more question, who made the RapidFire?

  • @theletsplaymaster Shoot the Moon Products, Inc.

  • @GregGaub alright thanks man

  • @GregGaub ohh, who is the inventor of them or is it a company? cuz i wanna buy one from them

  • CAN YOU ALL GIVE THIS GUY A BREAK AND STOP TELLING YOU YOU WANT TO BUY AN ATTACHMENT FROM HIM HE DOESN'T OWN ONE ,AND THE ONLY PERSON WHO DOES OWN THIS ATTACHMENT IS THE ACTUAL DESIGNER AND CREATOR OF THESE GUNS , SO STOP HARASSING THIS GUY ALREADY!!!!

  • dang i could buy a pro one for that

  • if you want to sell me one tell me kuz i might buy one

  • @MrJoester16 Sure. PayPal me $500 and I'll figure out some way to get one from the inventors to send to you.

  • how did he get it i have been all over the internet looking

  • @MrJoester16 No basket for Captain Can't-read.

  • does this new phoenix Ltx still come with the scope? thx

  • @LightningBlade963 "this new pheonix ltx" isn't in stores, but no, the Phoenix LTX set that's found for about $50 does NOT have the scope. As I said in my other comment, if it's not pictured on the box, then it doesn't have it.

  • @GregGaub but this does come with the shotgun accesorie right?

  • @LightningBlade963

Read Carefully: THE RAPIDFIRE IS NOT AVAILABLE. IT NEVER HAS BEEN. IT PROBABLY NEVER WILL BE. IT DOESN'T COME WITH ANYTHING.

If you want a shot gun for a Phoenix LTX, you need to get the original, more expensive set that came with them. The set that comes with them CLEARLY pictures them on and in the box. There really is NO WAY to get them otherwise. If you see a box of Phoenix LTX that doesn't show the shot gun, then IT DOES NOT HAVE THE SHOT GUN.

  • Are they still selling the tagger with the shot blast because i can't find it anywhere

  • @Exosabre No. Ebay and overpriced Amazon resellers is your best bet. Haven't been made since late '08, and probably never will be again. Blame the economy.

  • @GregGaub Darn i guess normal will do thank you for replying

  • thats little money if it is a rare prototype. i can fetch more in collector's world.

  • @yahooo13 Hehe, I'm part of the Lazer Tag "collectors world", and sorry but even rare LT stuff doesn't command that much. If you're a collector that likes to pay too much, let me know. I have a couple pre-prod Pheonix LTX I can sell you. ;-)

  • Anyone have one for sale? please email me i pay top dollars

  • @yahooo13 Oh yeah? How much? A grand? 'cus that's probably how much you'll have to offer, since the only ones that exist are the pre-production prototypes used in this video.

THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN FOR SALE IN STORES!!!

  • Where is this availble now?

  • @MrThatsYe In our dreams

  • where can i get this in vancouver

  • @AshtonRileyQuibuyen Go look at Toys R Us, maybe they have it.

  • I've seen ppl online saying this probably won't get released. They SERIOUSLY need to release this thing. It is awesome

  • you can find them at target

  • @shadowthingey You can find WHAT at Target? Maybe a set of Nerf LTX that didn't sell, but not the Rapid Fire, that's for sure.

  • @GregGaub target the store in corpus christi texas

  • @shadowthingey what target?

    meaning what state

  • will these actually come out at some point? or even another production run of the shot blasts? The only things left at a reasonable price are the nerf ones, which lack not only the shot blasts but also team 3. I'm part of a club that uses these and 250$ marked up guns on ebay are a bit too much.

  • Amen, Brotha!

As for if/when they'll come out, we really don't know. They didn't show diddly at ToyFair, which isn't a good sign. But, it's also possible that stores will put in enough orders to make it happen. I might find out something through my connections before they hit shelves this fall (or don't), but sometimes Hasbro can't even keep their OWN people in the loop. It's possible no one will know anything until it does, or doesn't happen. :\

  • where did you get the rapidfire?

  • @jagwire444 I don't have one. This was filmed at a special event where the inventor brought some of the pre-production toys for us to play with.

  • @griffinsclaw Eh? I got the nerf set and I can play a 3 team game just fine.

  • why the hell is it so hard to find these guns at the stores!?! I bought 10 and now everyone is out of stock? I have tons of friends wanting to play!!! Grrrr

  • They appear to have stopped making them until the next x-mas shopping season. Check ebay.

  • @Prophit7 try amazon you can get them their

  • can you buy those attachments seperately

  • also one more thing every one read the description it really tells every thing

  • i decided that ill going to wait until the rapid fire but for anyone else that's looking for this gun with attachments go on to walmart toys then kids electronics then plug in play look for it its only 70 bucks because some people on ebay sell for 250 or 150!!! im going to subscribe you GregGaub

  • Thanks. If Walmart online has it, then buy it, but I think you'll find that it's out of stock there. As I've said many times, the original set hasn't been made for over a year.

  • thanks

  • i recently got that gun but it has no attachments to it unless i spend 250 dollars for two more guns but the thing i really want is only the virtual scope and the rapid fire so do you know a website where its cheaper with thoose two things?

  • try ebay

but you might want to read the description for this video before you look too hard for the Rapid Fire.

  • I've been looking around for the new "Nerf" Two-player battle system, and every single department store, toy store, and even Hasbro's online store are completely sold out. A good sign, perhaps?

  • Or they didn't place big orders like before, and sold out of what would actually be a low amount of stock. I don't work for Hasbro, so don't have actual numbers. At the very least, it should mean that stores are more likely to order more for next season, hopefully also accessories.

  • I'm really crossing my fingers on this one, I refuse to miss out on another solid Lazer Tag release. Like you said in an earlier comment, I believe, things like Lazer Tag suffer when the economy's poor. Hopefully, with a little more recovery by the summer or next Holiday season, we'll see interesting things from Hasbro.

  • At this point it would seem that 2010 will be a better year for Tag than 2009. For the current line, that hopefully means accessories along with more Phoenix LTX on the shelves. If we're lucky, they'll be separate. Keep an eye on Toy Fair reports this coming February (well, near the end), and maybe we'll get a hint if the stores are interested, like if some reporter speculates that the new set will be "hot" next Christmas.

  • Hey, when will this be released and how will you get it?

    This is so awesome!

  • @callindude: we don't know. Please read the description.

  • Thanks! SOrry if I troubled you!

  • What do you think happened to the shotblast attachment?

  • It got set aside for now. If and when stores want to sell accessories, I'm sure the ShotBlast will be there right along side the RapidFire.

  • Freakin sweet. I just bought these taggers today and remembered seeing ones with attachments in stores a while ago.

Tried looking online, and the only things i find are the out of production taggers with the sight and shot blast attachments with the Tiger brand on the box and the ones Hasbro just released under the Nerf brand with no attachments. They better start releasing (or re-releasing) accessories soon.

  • that is amazing looking. glad to know there still making taggers. really hope to see the shot blast and dot sight in a bundle one day

  • Nice, it's good to see we'll be getting some attachments in the future.

I'm still hoping for a sniper attachment, preferably some kind of magnifier scope with a concentrated IR beam that hits for more than one tag.

Also, what's that little black thing you have attached to the bottom of your handle grip? Is that a part of this attachment as well, or is that just something I haven't seen before?

  • You're probably seeing my tool hanger attachment. It's actually designed for power drills and other small tools and comes with a hanger for your belt. It works great as a tagger "holster" type thing.

  • Ahh, that's pretty cool.

Lol, I might check that out, because I've always hated lugging mine around either by hand or in a backpack...

  • I talked to Hasbro (called them 1-800-327-8264 customer affairs). They obviously don't sell the pack with the pin-point and blaster attachement. They are only selling the base guns themselves (w/out attachments) now because the tv attachment only works on CRT/Tube TV's not flat-screens. I talked to the rep. she said that there was no plan of release of ANY attachments in the next 3 months. Nor had she even HEARD of the "RapidFire" attachment... not every happy about it. No sign anywhere of any..

  • so there will be no pinpoint because of that little mishap why dont the want to sell the pinpoint whit the blaster and the other attachment

  • Because expensive toys don't sell well in a bad economy. Next year should be better.

  • so then were did you get the pinpoint and shotblast on the ltx i was looking at ebay and the internet and tried to find thye box and also tryed to find the attachments even on videos

  • It's called "IN THE PAST" i.e. LAST YEAR when that set WAS new.

  • thanks for that i will be getting the nerf phoenix ltx for xmas

  • Man thats awesome.... can't wait till it comes out... i even like to reload sound xD!

I researched it, I heard its coming out after Christmas :(

How much do you think it is?

  • You "researched it" huh? Since I know the people who would know, and THEY don't know, I'm wondering who you talked to, or where you researched to find out that it's "coming out after Christmas."

First of, well, duh. That could mean years. It's coming out after today, too. ;-)

Secondly, putting it out AFTER christmas would be the stupidest thing for Hasbro to do. Toys sell BEFORE Christmas, not after. If anything, it will be out for Christmas NEXT year.

How much? I'd say $20 each at least.

  • My point is, it's only going to come out when store buyers decide to order them. They'll only order them when they think they will sell. If you want them out soon, you and everyone reading this needs to fill out product request forms at their local toy and department stores (that sell toys) so that store buyers know people want them.

  • Hmmmmm. I'll do that xD. Can't wait. I'll dominate. Thanks :)

  • This is great I truly cant wait, now i know this is a prototype, but how did you get it? And thanks for all the work you have done with The Phoenix, i have 5 friends how all now have a gun, and we truly love them. We leave high school and we ask "Laser tag?" then its on! ty vm

  • I don't actually have it. This was filmed at a local event for tag fanatics and one of the inventors came to play, as well as show off the RapidFire. We all got to play a few games with them before he had to go. Yes, he had to take them with him. ;-)

  • this looks really kool they should make a sharpshooter attachment.

  • with a bi pod!!!

  • Cool attachment. Thanks for posting it. Any idea when it will be released?

  • No. Please read the whole video description. Thanks!

  • Cool Should Be Fun Owning Noobs With It, But I Know Its Gonna Be Hard to get One."These will work with all Lazer Tag Phoenix LTX taggers, including the new Nerf branded set that comes with no attachments."

    More Taggers O_o Awsome

btw That Little Kid OWNED You

  • that's pretty sick , still waiting for a sniper accessory hehe.

  • @bookybabora it would be a scope like thing i bet

  • I hope to see this accessory soon. This will definitely make games a lot more fun.

  • Awesome!!!

Come on people! It's about time we get some accessories for our taggers! Ask your local stores!

  • Yeah, people! Ask local toy store about the new lazer tag accessory!
