@alimiyo Your right and its true, MSi is one of the companies leading the way for gaming laptops. Alienware is so bad. I wouldn't even go with sony because those laptops are not designed for gaming even though they claim it to be.
@7LaLeLu7 definitely.. just use a vga or hdmi or dvi cable dependin on what the monitor has .i think the laptop doesnt have the dvi port though so i suggest hdmi...

If the G73JH-A2 is available earlier I'd definitely get it, otherwise, Im getting the sager with the 5870. Although DX11 or no it doesnt matter. There isnt a game that requires DX11. With the SagerNP8760 I'd be running on i7-820QM and 6gb 1333.

But if only Alienware had a 5870 instead of 260m's I wont mind the price. It's still a flashy machine.

The 3 MAIN expensive options are really redundant if you're on a 'budget'. Extreme CPU for $1200, 4 gig more ram (with 4 already) is an extra $980 and a 256gb SSD for $900.
You dont need those 3 options unless you A: Have money to burn or B: REALLY need every last ounce of power.
You can easily upgrade any of those options later, and by then it'll be cheaper.

Well, it was delivered yesterday and so far so good. I dont have the time as of yet to game on it due to work, but I'll post back here with some gaming impressions this weekend.
This laptop looks nice, but as Leonis1989 said the price just goes to the roof when u start customizing it and adding warranty etc, its too much money for a laptop. I have an MSI gt627 and it runs everything, I paid like 1300 for it like a year ago (fully loaded even BluRay drive HDMI etc). I recommend checking out ASUS/MSI/Gateway for affordable gaming laptops. I am interested in the upcoming alienware m11x though - gaming netbook under $1000.
if you pay attention to what the base model has, you'll notice that there are cheaper laptops on the market that cover those needs.. and you can find some special offer by going to a best buy or something.. I recommend you to check other options before that dude... still the design of a M15x is AWESOME!

I priced up one of these, the one that would suit my needs was shooting for just over $2,300.
But with it fully beefed up, insurance and virus protecting you're looking at very slightly over $5,400.
But that all depends on what you want and where you are. Personally I wouldn't mind the less powerful versions but not the base model.
