Thank you Tiffany. I am at a point in my life, a middle point. I know that I have to give God everything I have, but I am still stuck in freeing myself from my past. I am a little cautious of forming new relationships with people, so I tend to stay by myself, which I know is not good. I'm not sure how to balance my life, or completely start a new one. I am filled with anger, sadness, and pain. Its just really hard for me to let go.

I cannot imagine how anyone as beautiful and sweet as you could feel hate for yourself, but I think that must be how God feels about all of us! He sees us, through Christ, as perfect beautiful and HIS....and then we turn that around to self hatred.

Yes God is love and His love is like no other, but He is also just and his justice is what makes Him king of kings and Lord of Lords, we cant go around saying we love him and we are his children and with our actions prove otherwise, it is true we are under His grace but no where in his holy word says that we can do whatever we please under His grace and expect to enter in heaven, if you love God with everything you got then you will obey n love his law!

And as a Mother can disapprove her child's behavior but still love him, God can disapprove your behavior but love you the same as the rest of his children...

I agree with you Tiffany, but I think love is one of the mislabed words. The world has confused the meaning with "emotional feelings" like lust, like, fondness. It's taken me this long to reckognize what "love is", from friends, men, even family. Love from God is the so pure and trusting. When I get around people who truly have the Lord in their heart I know they are capable of loving back.

God and his words may not be for everyone but the love that o feel from him can come to other people from a different source. I guess that we christians have to help them and try to show them God's love, show them how big and wonderful and perfect it is, so they can understand God loves them too and that He only will bring them peace, that Jesus died for them too bcause of His love! Maybe just bring them to church one day so they can see by themselves and maybe receive His marvellous call. (That what happened to me, they just brought me to church and TADAM!! :))

I was at a point where I didn't love myself and treated myself poorly. I used to be anorexic and bulimic, and it did me so much harm. Sometimes I see little things that bring those thoughts back, but I choose to rise above that because God loves me how He created me, BECAUSE He created me this way. =D One of the things that helps me is to remember that there is so much evil out there that hates me. The world does enough hating on me that I'm the only human being that matters. Helps lots! =]
