My parents found out I was an atheist through adding me as friends on Facebook. Since then, we've been okay with each other and they've been a little lenient on forcing me to go to church but I know that they'll always see me as the little devil ducky for as long as I live :P

Here's the thing. In the video I think I can see what happened prior to the video camera being turned on. I can see, "so mom...I'd like to talk for a minute...about...our religion." Mother eresponds with, "What? what do you need t otalk about?" And the kid PROBABLY just up and said, "...Well...It's been a long time coming, and after discussing the issue with friends and looking stuff up...I'm an atheist."

The beliefs of an agnostic is pretty dogmatic. Although few agnostics realize this, they define themselves as someone who believes that we can never know for sure if god exists or not. I'm a de facto atheist, which means I'll believe in god if presented compelling evidence for it. An agnostic, on the other hand, would not believe the evidence because their beliefs dictate that god can not be proven nor disproven. It's ironclad; if they don't agree, they're not agnostic.
