The theory that Jews are descended from Khazars is completely untrue. That theory only enjoys popularity among anti-Zionists and antisemites in the Arab world.
The Khazar theory is contradicted by scientific genetic evidence & has no support among academics. These genetic studies have found that " various Jewish populations were not significantly different from one another and that Jews descended from a common Middle Eastern ancestral population”.
Oblast is not Khazaria. West Kazakhstan, North Azerbaijan and Dagestan is Khazaria and NO Jews are NOT welcome to come and steal the real Khazar Turks land.
Jews could not conquer Khazar land even if they wanted since Khazars no longer exits and they were NOT fucking turks. They were "turkic" and there is a difference. They are not the same people as turkISH. There is no such thing as "Khazar Turks" and never was ...LOL. The Khazars were essentially mongols, ya know Asian, with slanted eyes.
PS Jews don't have to steal anybody's land, they have their own country AND have been citizens of lands all over the world.
@Lagolop Khazars were Turks/Turkic whatever you want to call them, they are not TurkISH. And yes Kazakhs from West Kazakhstan like myself descend from the Khazars, their empire fell but not the identity of the people, same thing with Kipchaks & Uyghur. Yeah Khazars looked like me not like Jews. Palestine is Muslim land, not Jewish.
I know Jews don't generally look like you. Jews are white, Khazars look like Asians.
PS, there is no "palestine" and never really was. It is a word coined by Romans when the Jews rebelled. Sorry you idiot but Israel is Jewish land; has been for thousands of years and will be forever. I suggest you ruminate over that ...LOL. Hate all you want but it will not change the facts, nor history.
Stalin might have been fickle but he certainly saved a lot of Jews with blood on their hands at the time by letting them have Biribizhian. The Jews had first asked for what is now Georgia but Stalin felt that the Soviet people could easily reach them there and he was correct. Fickle or not Biribijian has survived for more than 70 years and I believe it will thrive when the Ashkenazim of Israel join their brethren there as they should have done originally saving Palestinian life and more.
When you're dealing with someone as fickle as Stalin - then of course this project never got off the ground. One day he would say he wanted to establish a Jewish AO, the next day when he was in a bad mood he would put out a decree to close all the synagogues and banish Judaism. Communists were atheists after all. Nope - we've tried that - Israel is still our heritage, culture, hebrew language, archeology and biblical history - END OF !!
Ancient Khazars and modern Khazars are who entirely different people, just as the ancient Macedonians and modern Macedonians are two entirely different peoples.
Why would you love to call this Khazaria? It isn't and never was. Yes the Khazars did convert to Judaism but their impact on the Jewish genetics today is minimal at best. Remember, only a minute percent of Ashkenazi Jews have any Khazar genetics.
Calling the JAO Khazaria, would simply feed into the myth that all Ashkenazi Jews are simply descendants of Khazar coverts and therefore have no legitimacy in Israel. The Jew haters and Israel deniers would love it.
PS I do think the vid is interesting though, and this version ends better.
JAO, does retain it's Jewish culture to this day, but ironically not that many people currently living there are actually Jewish even though they observe religious holidays and can even speak Yiddish in some cases. It would definitely be an interesting place to visit.
Virtually ALL Ashkenazim have LEvantine genomes. PRoven beyond any doubt through scientific genetics studies. Only Jew hating Israel deniers lie like rugs as YOU are doing.
Yes, even those blond, blue eyed, lily white Jews have ancestral ties to Israel :) I know that for a fact.
But go ahead and keep denying what science, history, and archaeology tells us. OTOH you can lie all you want but it won't make your lies, the truth. Failure.
@Lagolop Im irish. Im ethnicly not Jewish. but I've converted to Judisim. Dose that make me illigitamit? I've been told so by jews but that shouldent matter. I'll volentarily die for isrial befor meany REAL jews. My beleaf is stronger then most "real jews" and i think i deserv to be called a jew. What do you think?
I am not an expert but from my understanding, a convert too Judaism is held in much higher regard than one born into the faith. Converting to Judaism is not an easy task it's very difficult from what I hear (a relative of mine who was Catholic, converted to Judaism years ago).
I think that a Jewish person is a Jewish person. You are Jewish if b own to a Jewish mother or if you convert but booth are equally Jewish.
BTW, there is a very long history of Jews in Ireland. They have lived in Ireland since Medieval times. Never large populations but many Jews have been majors, judges, and various famous Irish people.
Arieh O'Sullivan is an Israeli whose Dad (Irish) converted to Judaism, moved to Israel and married a Jewish woman. Arieh means lion in Hebrew. I just learnt of this recently. Anyway, Arieh is a reporter and you can look him up on YT or just on the net to get info on him.
I thought you might find this interesting. The first song is a Jewish and sung in Yiddish and some English. The second is Yiddish and the third is actually an Irish ballad sung in Gaelic. The dude Jewish, the woman is Irish and both sing in Yiddish and Gaelic.
