At 0:28, he's using Earth + Arcane to pull the remote... Almost one year later, the new DLC "The Stars Are Left" includes a magick called "Tractor Pull" that uses Earth + Arcane to achieve that same effect. The Magicka devs have already acknowledged that they watched and loved this video, so I wonder if they included that as a shout out? :D
