What about a 7.62 round? AK is becoming quite popular since you can pick them up cheap. So in a SHTF situation you might face that caliber. Can you do a testing please sir? :) Thank you!
@survivaleveryday Go to the site in the description. It seems this "bunker" is made of cinder block, which would make the door the strongest part of the "bunker". 5.56, 5.45, and 7.62 will goes through his walls like a hot knife through butter.
@thehammernator Nope, thats just his door. This video spike my curiosity enough to do a little research and I found his website (chadperson(dot)com) which shows the construction of his bunker, as creative as he was with this door it surprised me that the rest of the "bunker" is about 1 step (the roof) above you typical 1970's basement and substandard for a modern basement.
That's not bad. I'm impressed 5.56 stopped so easily. My experience is that 5.56 will easily blow through 1/4"welding steel. Was that stainless or hardened steel, and how thick?

"Great Test", like the angle iron. What is the rest of the bunker made of.

Nice work. I like the "angle iron" theory.

Does this bunker stand up to nukes? I think not...totally pointless door for the end of the world.

I really hope you are not on the west coast because I doubt the superstructure has been reinforced with steel to resist earthquakes. O.O
Also I am worried about the hinges on the door and it's ability to support the weight over time.
Regardless of these minor criticizes, this is a superbly designed personal bunker and should be praised.
