Just beat him. AVG party level 61. Used the sleep method. Slashed his REF to 500 and increased Marivel's REF to over that. Almost lost it a couple of times, but it was a cakewalk while the setup was intact.
i wud love to see anyone defeating Ragu O Ragula with a lower lvl..i tried at sixty n it was imposible. U just need some luck, as that guy said right there..it doesnt have that many HP so u can blow him up with several attacks
I've beaten this boss by luck when I attack him couple of times then suddenly when he uses his dark nova, ashley is the only one left and i use the last burst as my last resort then boom!! Im shocked Ive beaten him
Maker sure Kanon's luck is at Best, and keep spamming Phalanx over and over. It might take a while since it's only a 1% chance. Try to do it on bosses or Hyulkonton too, something with high HP, that way you don't have to recharge you FP to 90 every battle.
can u make a video fighting that annoying boss he's called something ninja i can't remeber he's full name, but u know when u fight him with timyor tim.
I killed this boss with level 66 only using brad, it was too long but.. what the hell it was very fun ( i used the invinsible and the talisman that increased your hp after your turn.
Niiice! How much HP does he have? I know what drops a Viper Fang, so if I get lucky and stock up on a few of them, I may be able to take him out a bit quicker. I'm still no way near the level to take him down though. My guys are all around 56 or so.
You must be thinking about the Shuriken item. There is only one Viper Fang and it isn't a drop. I like to keep all the items, so I don't use limited ones. =]

You took a while, but I bet you have several tries before where you were defeated (I did, because I didn't build up my character's HP at the beginning). The battle with Ragu 'O Ragla in Wild Arms 2 can be a game of luck if you didn't develop your characters correctly. You could've used big damaging moves such as Last Burst (Takes about 20,000), Full clip (take about 10,000), Brad's Rail Gun (about 10,000) and if you still had the Viper Fang that's about another 25,000!

i did this at level 60. its a lot easy if you have tim's magic maxed out so 1st aid UBER heals and Kanon and Ashley start wailing on him

you can also try this:
equipping kanon with her worst weapon, that way, your attack power will drop.
