This and season 4 were the best ones ever. Cook and Archuleta both deserved to make the finale but Brooke White should have gotten 3rd. Cook deserved to win and he's awesome but Archuleta is really good too.

Actually it doesn't matter who won (especially when it comes to the top 2), bcoz what matters is what's coming after. Idol is only their platform for them to show that thy can do, to build their fanbase, so that in the future, after the show is over, they can start their real singing career (i mean, as in having own albums, owns single, own concerts).

i thinik archuleta deserved it. cook is a great singer though, but i think the voice cook has is to original, a lot of people can sing like him. even with davids archuletas voice like that, he still manages to sing very very well, he doesnt care about his paralyzed vocal choards and stuff.. he puts that past him and trys his hardest
