@Fifa09Wii Because helmets offer face protection. Even though hockey fights look crazy, there is, usually, honor involved. You are not supposed to fight someone who doesn't have a visor when you do. Sometimes players get extra penalties for having a visor on.

You can't just say you're not supposed to fight someone if you have a visor because you don't know the circumstances.. Seabrook tried a blindside hit well after the puck was gone on a smaller guy and Phaneuf stood up for him.. if you don't want to deal with Phaneuf's visor, don't play dirty or go after him after he makes a clean hit. Simple as that.
