  • How do you get rid of the red lines?? I heard how to before but i forgot D:.

  • xstacy02 please please reply i beg you how do you make the lines really smooth? i dont know how

  • It's not that my Paint is better or something. It's just simply drawing on a much larger scale before shrinking it. Curves seem smoother when drawn on a larger scale and made smaller rather than being drawn on a small area in the first place.

  • i dont get what you mean by when you say scale are you saying the page or brush size?

  • Draw on a larger page.

  • woah... 0.0 ... Im not crazy about the green + orange background at first ... second one was great though

  • Awesome! I love it!!!!

Omg! That totally helps me out! ^ ^ ;D

Keep up the good work! :)

  • nice i really like it

  • nice but the area around the chin (you know the v thing that goes down from your hair) is a lil hude make it a lil smaller but nice painting :D wish i could do that on the ms paint :o

Cuz I wanna do one of those, but I can't oO

  • Windows Movie Maker. You can create the individual frames using Paint and export them into Movie Maker.

  • erm...

    how ?? 'x.x

  • Just create image files using MS Paint (or any other preferred software) and import these files into Movie maker

  • OMG how do you draw that good on the computer?

  • hey this is great .. im gonna subscirbe and check out other videos

  • -.- i just saw your using paint..... damn sorry by the coment beffor

  • i cant finde the "curves" thing on photoshop cs3 and i suck with the "pencil" do you know where it is?

  • OMG!

thats awesome i wih i could do that D:

  • If you can draw like that, why does your background on your YouTube profile suck?

  • maybe he has better things to do then worry about what people like you think ¬ ¬

  • I meant to put that on a different vid. -_-'

  • rite.....

  • i did....:P

  • 0.o what does superimpose the picture over background? how do i paste my picture i drew onto the background i made into photoshop without the white background showing?

  • Select all the white and delete it.

  • that looks so pretty!

  • cab u make a video where to download photo shop please.

  • You have to buy PhotoShop and install it!

    ^_^

  • ur the first peson that teches evrithing from the begining!FINALYYY!! TYYYYYY!!!!! LOVE UUU!!!

  • amazing..!

  • did you use a mouse with all these????

    thanks, you're awesome.

  • MAN I WISH I COULD DRAW LIKE THIS

  • hey, nice job! (I use similar techniques)

  • what program is that?

  • I think opencanvas

  • *points to the description* its in there, if you want to know you should read it

  • I WANT PHOTOSHOP!!! Is it possible to download it somewhere?

  • get paint dot net. its like a free photoshop

  • yea i tried but the colors window disappeared hehe so i downloaded opencanvas lol

  • i dunno try adobe dot com to get it

  • i don't know if anyone else had said this, but what does it say at 1:34?

  • how to you get the picture over the background?

  • set the part that you want to make transparent as the transparent colour( i.e. by right clicking that colour). copy and then paste on the desired background.

  • you my friend are a genius. i thought i knew every single shortcut and tips in paint but you proved me wrong

  • the part with the eyes was hard to understand

  • this doesnt teach manga/animae but great drawing!!!

  • May I ask..in Ms Paint whether you use the paint brush, the pencil etc the line looks "chunked or pixelated?" not smooth like yours when you first drawed the outline..can you help lol?

  • It will always look pixelated. My video got shrunk to fit the small screen, which smootherns the lines. I suggest that you draw on a larger canvas area, before shrinking it. Try NOT to use the skew function as it will still look pixelised. Alternative method: open the completed art with 'Windows Fax and Picture Viewer', print screen, and paste into a new paint file

  • Alrighty thanks ^^

  • very nice. Maybe now I can do that kind of hard coloring in photoshop. Before I had issues and made everything kind of soft looking, as if it was a cross between manga coloring and real life photo manipulations.

By the way, love the Cardcaptor Sakura music in this

  • how did you get the glitters at the end?

  • In photoshop, go to <filter> -->> <render> then select <lens flare>. alternatively, you can create a blank layer and use the paint brush at zero hardness level. you may then blur the white spots if necessary (gaussian blur). or else, there's always the <distort> --->> <diffuse glow> function.

  • wow starts off so rough ^^ you are very good im olny that good in real life but never on computer 0.0 lol

  • Thanks a lot for the compliment. Microsoft Paint does require a lot of patience in order to get a decent quality picture as well.

  • where can i get photoshop?

  • You may purchase them from any brick-and-mortar shop (licensed retailers) or online from the adobe homepage

  • That is amazing. Didn't know Paint could actually do those lines all that smooth.

Yet, what ponders me is how you get those rough drafts out of the pictures. How do you do that?

  • To make it smoother, try drawing on a larger size and then shrink it. To remove the rough drafts (the one with the red line), first RIGHT click the color of the draft line. Then, select all(ctrl+A), copy (ctrl+C), and delete the image. Clear the BG, and then paste. (ctrl+v) Now the draft lines would be gone in a jiffy.

P.S. Right clicking the draft line colour makes it transparent when you paste in on a new surface.

  • very good but doesnt look that much like anime

  • uh, WOW...that was very PROLIKE. everything except the eyes. Its VERY GOOD, its just not ANIME eyes. ^^

  • Awesomeness ^.^

  • Very nice and you are very talented. It's interesting that you used MS Paint for the coloring, since most people I know like to get crazy with the Photoshop burn and dodge tools and whatnot for coloring, but I find those tools so hard. Now I can try your way!

is that the full version of Purachina? It sounds like it's skipping or fading at parts.

  • Thank you. I've always felt that Microsoft Paint is one of the simpler tools as compared to Photoshop and stuff.

Yes, this is the (virtually) full version, albeit with minor snips here and there to compress the song to fit into the video length.

  • Wow...its amazing that work of that caliber is even possible on MS Paint. Kudos, thats amazing.

By the way, whats the name of the song? Its catchy. :)

  • Thank you! By the way, the song is "Purachina" which is the third Japanese opening song for Cardcaptor Sakura.

  • How do you draw the hands?? i think thats the hardest part

  • All lines are done using the mouse. Yes, I agree that the hand is the most difficult part. I guess one has to be patient (and careful) when it comes to drawing hands...

  • Very carefull...well your awesome at drawing anyway!

  • I wish i had adobe.Bad anime music pwn!

  • kewl
