  • Yeah that too later, I remember it being on around 5-ish. Maybe regions showed it at different times?

  • One of my favourites. I miss ITV's Friday afternoon gameshows.

  • @Halfbricktv2 grrrrrr me too ! ;) watching it with the family

  • Bruce fuckin Forsyth, sweet jesus and mary this guy is so up his own ass its unreal.

i went to the filming of this and we were told to shout cheer and whistle as soon as mr c walked down. And then we had to laugh out loud and i mean really loud every time bruce said something remotely funny.

We spend 5 hours watching 1 show being made, take after take was done, bruce was ok really but he insisted on us laughing louder then the last take. one old lady was nearly in tears after being shouted at

  • Sweet Christ, those people go BERZERK for Bruce Forsyth. And quite right too.

  • makes me want to cry

    bruce foresythe is my idol!

  • britain's "greatest" game show?

bruce's price is right was referred to as britain's biggest game show and, as here, britain's brightest game show, but never britain's greatest game show.

and although bruce was good, as he always is, the show was bigger in the 80s when leslie crowther was host

  • i used to love this show bruce is so awesome xx

  • Adapted version of the 1994 US tune if I'm right.

  • In fact it is indeed a cut down version of the 1994 syndicated US theme tune.

  • Your month of research has paid off my friend.

Sadly, it is wrong. 1993 featured the cut down theme tune, '95 saw the extended note iirc at the end?

Please get back to me, thanks.

  • Both versions were infact produced under the Thames Waterhouse Film and Televison devision from 1992-1996 when the show last aired. It was in 1995 when the show become popular with the younger generations. In schools across America, children would shout the phrase 'Higher Bruce!'. Shortly after this, Children disregarded the format.

  • zoo do i wn?!?! (h5)

  • The point is, Bruce's PIR used the theme song from the failed 1994 US Syndicated TPIR's theme.

  • I see your point iamneveronline, my mistake xD
