My mistake, but what I don't get, is that the pink girl robot is called Arcee (one they introduced in the 1986 movie). The exact same colored robot as Ariel, and Elita 1 was turquoise and blue. I just don't understand.

No one really knows what happened to Dion, but Ariel did become Elita One, Alpha Trion said he'd call her Elita One. Arcee is just another female autobot, there's a group of them pre-movie. It's also why several Decepticon groups like Bruticus/Combaticons don't show up post-movie, same for the female autobots except for Arcee. They were drawn after the movie was already being planned out and drawn.
