  • Great stuff there. :-)

  • search this track on youtube.....Real Funky Sax...

Kash Trivedi - Sax Appeal (Original Mix)

  • I love your band! Your songs have helped me with my improv.

What scales do you use with your solos?

  • i can learn from this... i play tenor too! im new to improvising! I've started improvising on songs such as pick up the pieces, spain, in the doghouse, etc! It was always my dream to play funky solos like this! thanks for sharing, great video

  • Epic! What a great audience too:D

  • AWESOME BAND AND I'M TALKING SERIOUSLY

PRETTY GOOD Y REALLY LIKED THE SAX SOLO AND WOW THE PIANIST PLAYING A TAMBOURINE TOO. YEAH THIS BAND IS AWESOME

  • @Granpapayon Haha, thanks a lot. You can check out our new band Flearoy!

  • Respond to this video... that solo is really funky what mouthpiece were u using cus it could bend notes really good

  • sounds amazing how can I learn to improvise like that? I have a tenor sax and love playing, I've been playing for years but my improvising just sounds boring!!! How do you work out what rhythm to play?? Do you settle for a scale or what? I don;t understand! help! ha x

  • @xXprincesspopcornXx It is important to practice your scales, get comfortable in them, so you can then have fun in them with confidence. Also listen to soloists you like and try to learn their lines. It will help you then come up with your own. Also, you can check out our new band FLEAROY.

  • @CaptainCoconutFunk Who would you suggest to listen to? Who's your funk role model, or which players would you suggest to copy?

  • i dont believe soul music has anything to do with the color of your skin... its about the heart&SOUL coming through the music

  • This is why white folks shouldn't be allowed to play soul... haha

  • lightningtheifs...

your a faggot. stop dissing people on youtube just because your unhappy with your life.

    faggot.

  • @lewisthemusician Thanks a lot! You can check out our new band FLEAROY if you want.

  • the drummer looks way too into it the trumpet player looks like his thunder was taken from under him good job keyboardist way to multi-task! YAY for the goofy-lookin guitarist!!!

Bari sax player, love the instrament but look less amazed at the tenor next time ok?

  • @lightningtheif5 k seriously? You should be a little less critical. First of all, you cant get ''too into" the music. Thats actually a good thing. Trumpet players have a habit of doing that for some reason lol nothing new there. And the bari player (also love the instrument), was just diggin the sound of the funky tenor player. Nothin wrong with that.

  • @lightningtheif5 do you know anything about music? these guys are having a good time.

  • You have a pretty massive audience. Still, I wish I could play like that, good work, then again, I don't have a saxophone yet haha.

  • nice sound

  • i totally agree

  • @ThePhucyu agreed

  • Love it!

  • Good job man. Keep the music coming

  • 4 thumbs up!

  • by the way.. huge stage:D

  • nice sax solos;)

  • sax tenor rulz

  • That drummers got some moves! Like the song and solo, Gimme more!

  • ah wanna hear more..... awesome!

  • some great talent right there

  • Sounds awesome man. Work with the crowd a bit more and you'll be the next Whalum or Koz. Keep on rockin'.

  • who wants to be the next Koz?? you people need to listen to something else...haha

  • I'm not saying Koz is the best, but it's no argument that he does work with the crowd in his performances. That's all I was saying. I prefer others to Koz as well.

  • who else do you listen to?

  • Well, Kirk Whalum, as I mentioned, and others like Charlie Parker, Lester Young, John Coltrane, people like that. The period of good jazz music.

  • you should listen to some more contemporary sax players as well. jazz is ever-changing and it's good to have influences from all over.

  • It's never been my favorite genre of music, so I admit I don't know a lot of contemporary players. Any recommendations?

  • Joshua Redman, Chris Potter, Eric Alexander, Michael Brecker (RIP), Branford Marsalis, Kenny Garrett (the REAL Kenny G), Ron Blake, Walter Smith III, Steve Wilson, Don Braden, Seamus Blake, David Sanchez, Miguel Zenon.....there's a lot out there.....depends on what you like to listen to because some of these guys play straight ahead while others play more mainstream, groove-based jazz.....what are you looking for?

  • Michael Brecker, I'd say is my favorite sax player. Or close at least. Love his Delta City Blues. I like a good modern rock/blues sounding sax player. Someone who can bust out a good solo. Or just someone who's considered the master of the new generation, a generation that is a little lack-luster compared to the last few with jazz/blues.
