  • Holy crap. I had no idea dorian gray was in this movie. o.o

  • @OMFGRedo yeah me too

  • he did an amazing job in queen of the damned(: he potrays a good sexy vampire rockstar personality.

  • he's so handsome and mesmerising...Ben Barnes is good as Dorian Gray, but Stuart Townsend's Dorian Gray has the power and charm to captivate my heart

  • I LOVE HIM.!

So hot. He's the best Dorian Gray. *_*

    <3

  • Hm, vampire and immortal, nice combination, nice couple. too bad they couldnt have had a happily forever after *sad*

  • Yeah Stuart was hot in this film too bad the critics lampooned it. I enjoyed the film even if it was a bit corny, He makes an excellent Dorian Gray, I just saw Ben Barnes version as well. Though I find it interesting they choose to portray Dorian as Tall Dark and handsome when in the book he was blond and blue eyed type handsome.

  • lestat and dorian are very alike, i really like stuart as them cause he has that look about him.

  • first DORIAN GRAY then LESTAT:THE VAMPIRE way to go

  • I don't know why he cuts his hair short, the man is AMAZINGLY hot with that shoulder length hair. God, I want to rip him to pieces. He's so gorgeous.

  • @Indiegirl007 i agree hes so much hotter with longer hair

  • I don't know why he cuts his hair short, the man is AMAZINGLY hot with that shoulder length hair. God, I want to rip him to pieces. He's so gorgeous.

  • stewart townsend or ben barnes?

  • @benandjohnnyfans uhh.. Ben Barnes is very good looking too.. but I'll go with Stuart.. :D

  • @benandjohnnyfans

although i think ben is hot as hell...his take on dorian was rather disappointing. he wasn't really sexy.

but then again, he was playing the young version who was rather goofy and stupid, unlike stuart.

  • The irony: he playes a vampire in a previous film, yet he fights one as a... not vampire.

  • ≧∀≦

  • Oh yeah it is :)

  • for me, he is the best Dorian Gray ever.

Stuart Townsend played Dorian so well; the arrogance and the sexiness. it is all there.

  • @bloodreddresses : I agree with you, I was only 13 when I watched this movie and his performance just "marked" me ! Ever since I'm a HUGE fan of him :D

(PS : sorry for my english lol)

  • He was awesome in all his roles, "Queen of thew Damned' too.

  • wow i just saw queen of the damned..he is sex in that movie..but i never noticed him in this one for some reason....he seems to play characters from novels quite often....queen of the damned if a fabulous movie one of my favourites

  • mina's hair are curly when dorian stabs her, but when he gets the sword and she gets up, her hair is straight...xD

  • His voice is sex.

  • lmao too true

  • indeeeeed.

  • ohhhh sexx-y!

  • SO GREAT video!!!!!! 5 stars

  • I love him as Dorian Gray!

  • where they get the idea of Dorian Gray crumbling when he sees his portrait is beyond me. He looks at it regularly in the novel, and only dies when he destroys the painting

  • I just watched this yesterday, and was thinking the same thing! He's not supposed to die like that!! It's not fair!

  • Yup, that idea was lame. Mina could just have stabbed the portrait, it would have made more sense!

  • He had a knife through him when he looked at the painting, so it caused him to die

  • stuart is a good actor no doubt but he made lestat too cold and not as light hearted and self loving, he did great as dorian imo

  • I like him best with long hair^^

  • i saw LXG three times in the theater because of Stuart! lol I absolutely adore him.

  • Yummy! OMG I love him as Dorian! More than Nina... lol. Not in Queen of The Damned though. Tom Cruise is Lestat to me. /even though he isn't as pretty.

  • Her name is Mina, not Nina. It's short for Whilhemina.

  • Stuart Townsend failed as Lestat. While I am a huge fan of Stuart's, he did not fit the part. Tom Cruise played Lestat pefectly. THen again, Interview with the Vampire was more fitting to its book. Queen of the Damned was off by leagues (LOL), and so none of the characters in the movie matched the book except Akasha, Jesse, and Maharet. Queen of the Damned was a failure. I hope Stuart never does Lestat again. He did not pull off the vanity well enough for us fans that know Lestat.

  • Honestly, I think Stuart would have made a great Lestat if he wanted too, especially after seeing him in Resurrection Man, but even he later admitted that the screenplay was terrible and nothing like the book. So, frankly, I blame the writers. The sad thing is that it had a great cast, but the script could have been SO much better.

  • Stuart Townsend is amazing in both Queen of the Damned and as Dorian Gray. He is the only one who could fit his part. Dorian is amzing, and vampires rock ;) I <3 Stuart Townsend

  • Same here. On all counts ;D

  • I was pissed when he dies in the movie too

  • I have loved how great Stuart Townsend has been when he was Dorian Gray, in this movie! It was even him who gave me the envy to read the book, some years ago!

  • It's the same to me : when I saw him in the movie, I wanted to read the book ^^

  • they r actually making a movie of dorian gray come out in 2009 but the guy who plays prince caspian role in The Chronicles of Narnia is going to play dorian gry i hate it the only one who really suits this character is stuart

  • It's great if they make a movie ^^

I agree with you : Stuart Townsend is the only Dorian Gray ^^

  • Stuart fits Dorian sooo much! And he is just so .. beautiful .. *drool*

Anyway, as others I love the ''gazelle'' and ''im complicated'' line, too xD But also when Mina sticks him behind his legs, he says ''If that was permanent, I would've been mad' or something like that XD!

  • a mere comment cannot do justice to the twin wonders that are dorian gray and stuart townsend. *melts into nothingness*

  • love him

best line in this is when hes asked to fetch something/jump somewhere

and he says 'i'm an immortal not a gazelle!'

    aha

    love it.

  • yeah i love oscar wilde and the picture of dorian gray is the best book ive read in my life.. and stuart fits the role perfectly damnit i love it when he said... im complicated....

  • LOL so true!!

    "what ARE you?"

    "I'm complicated."

btw I looooovee his accent :D

  • Yeah I love when he said that ^^

I love his accent too =)

  • What is the name of this film???

  • This movie is "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" with Sean Connery.

    ^^

  • Thx dear!!! ^___^

  • You're welcome =)

  • I agree! He clearly did his homework and I love the arrogance and foppishness that he plays as Dorian! He made a great Dorian and I really wish he'd play him in a remake!

  • That would be so great ^^ I hope too ^^

  • yeah i had to read the picture of Dorian Gray. I wish lord henry didn't corrupt him.

    T-T.

    God bless u!

  • Well if he hadn't, the story would have never actually happened, would it?

  • I agree with you : I love the story of Dorian Gray and Stuart Townsend is a really good actor ^^

  • Thaks a lot for your comments ^^

    it's kind =)

  • Thanks! I love Stuart Townsend and this is, without doubt, his best role ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks and again Thanks! I love Stuart Townsend and this is, without doubt, his best role ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah that's for sure ^^ He's my favorite writor =)

  • LOL ^^ you'll see : the book is really good ^^

  • stuart est trop sexy ;)jadore trop le film(LXG) super la video!

  • J'adore Stuart aussi <3 je suis trop fan ^^

    Merci pour le commentaire =]

  • I just finished reading the book, 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' so I shall have to watch this movie!

Though, I don't think I remember reading anyt fight scenes in the book, haha :D

    Looks interesting!

  • no this is not a movie about dorian gray

its "league of extraordinary gentleman", he is just one of the characters

but still its a good movie. i saw "The Picture of Dorian Gray" in theatre in russia, it was sick

  • his best role ever

  • I just rented this film and silly though some of it was, it was entertaining. And of course, Stuart Townsend was, as Lestat would call himself, a gorgeous fiend! Yum!

  • I'd always hoped I'd get to nail you again...

  • very good, im reading the picture of dorian gray now and that was a good visual of the picture destroying him.

  • I also read the book two years ago and I love it. Oscar Wilde is my favorite writor.

  • Belle video ^^

    Great !!

    Congratulation =)

  • Merci beaucoup =)
