@kosmosleha Like car air bags they can only be used safely once. After any impact the structure has been compromised. It looks undamaged, but if were to get hit in another accident it could shatter like an egg shell with no protection to the wearer.

This is not the kind of news I want to be hearing before my cross country trip next week :( But then again on freeways this type of accident can't happen. This is exactly the reason I stay loyal to the ATGATT rule, even if i'm just going down the street. It only takes one time to get injured in an accident so theres no "Oh i'll wear more gear next time" cause there is a chance of not being a next time..

I have been following your blogs and watching you ride I think to myself "wow ther eis no way this guy will ever be on an accident , he is soo carefull and good rider " a real eye opener , I ride with all my gear as well , It was chilling to hear that they called the coroner , do you plan to continue riding (altough is implied on the video since you are getting another helm) or are you planning to take a break from riding ?

@venom400 I'm editing my next video which has all the accident details. I'll take the bike in later this week to get the handle bar fixed and get it its 10,000 mile check-up. I'm just bummed HJC discontinued the CL-15 model helmet. My R6 and I will ride again. ;)
