Eugh, ugly water. Try and grab the newest Beta (not stable) release of MGE and switching to shader model 3, the water looks so much better, better than Oblivion.

holy crap......it actually looks....dare i say it....good. time to dig the CDs out of the bottomless pit of my basement and Google me up some graphics mods. because like many people, i have so wished to play Morrowind again, although if anyone has a suggestion on a combat mod to make it somewhat more oblivion like, id appreciate it (combat was on of the few things oblivion nailed in my opinion, that aside Morrowind is far superior.)

I have Two Worlds. That is NOTHING LIKE Two Worlds, not close. It's a lot like Oblivion, though. I'm glad there are mods like this available to have a go at keeping Morrowind up with the times. I couldn't play without MGE!

@ Ducaz012 footstep sound volume isin the the sound options lol and better bodies and better heads mods have been out for a loooong time, as well as better clothes/books/sould gems/misc items/female aromor mesh perplacers high res textures for everything and many more improvements, too much to list though :P

Morrowind>Oblivion, in my opinion.

Oblivion has great graphics, and a big world. But it lacks the in-depth detail and interactiveness of Morrowind.

Oblivion does not have nearly as elaborate dungeons, open-ended discussing NPC's, or countless loot for your stealing pleasure.

And besides, with a few simple mods, Morrowind's graphics can be BETTER than Oblivion's.

If Daggerfall had decent graphics it might be better. It takes two weeks in real-time to cross the entire continent in Daggerfall (tested).

Everybody - just google 'Morrowind Graphic Extender' - it's not hard to find,but it takes a bit to get it working so read the readme's VERY carefully!!!
