@ralord89 Magical Amber decides to take over the Tohno household, so she recruits Hisui to help her. She traps Shiki and Sion into the dungeon guarded by a brainwashed Ciel. After defeating Ciel, Shiki and Sion then confront Magical Amber. She decides to bring out Mech-Hisui to stop them, but the robot gets destroyed by a pissed off Akiha. Magical Amber's last resort is to pump Akiha with a drug and turns her into a giant while promises that she will turn her back when Shiki is defeated.
IIRC They don't explain her story. But, she is Brunestud that has takent over the body of Arcueid, without vampiric impulse (so, she doesn't need to use her power to restrict her vampiric impulse). So, she is "just" Arcueid with 100% power
@zergvsgenin She is Arcueid in her true capacity as the touch of the planet and as the TA of most high degree of purity. And according to her official profile in the MBAA PS2 site, she isn't the Crimson Moon personality taking control, becoming Type-Moon does not make her Archetype Earth after all. So she is just the normal Arc at full power.
@solopy567 i just beat arcade with neco and nvsr chaos( not sure if u need any other characters though as prior to beating arcade with neco and nvsr chaos i had already beat arcade with nanaya, shiki, aoko, ciel, akiha, akiha vermillion, sion, and arcuid ( not in order))
Whats interesting is that Arcueid is Type-Earth and Type-Moon at the same time. I guess thats what you get if you let Gaia ask the Moon to give her ideas for personal avatars. Uncreative bitch. Oh well, at least we got Arcueid.
Manga isn't canon mind you. But true, Roa was a Church ambassador at the True Ancestors and went all crazy immortality lust with Arcueid, made her drink blood thus igniting her until then not existing bloodlust and making her go crazy and butcher everyone. VNs are superior in every regard.
Also note that if we get the fabled Tsukihime Remake then Melty Blood will become 'somewhat' canon, since its based on Sacchin's ending. (Aren't you glad Sacchin?)
@NeroBlackheart666 I can't believe Shiki is in love with Arcueid in Sacchin's own route. Everyone in Melty Blood lives happily ever after (Even Kohaku with her fake mask) while Satsuki has to live in an abandoned factory, IN HER OWN ROUTE, no less. What did Sacchin do to Nasu to deserve this?
Isn't it sad, Sacchin? Even if your route is released, you still can't find happiness.
Archtype Earth reminds me of Akatsuki by Shiroto from MUGEn, it's obvious that the people of type-moon knows Akaitsuki from MUGEN and used it as base, and wow, their awesome!
Well akaitsuki is basically Arcueid possessed by Brunestud aka Crimson Moon which would be more canon since there's always the chance of him possessing her just like in the original Melty Blood just before the fight with Zepia/Tatari
So Akatsuki was not herself (Arcueid) at all? then why was there this Girl in white dress behind her during the intro of a fight? then vanishes when the round starts? Dunno, but she looked like Archtype.
I suggest playing Kagetsu Tohya and looking for a all clear save as one of the 10 nights of dream explains it better than i could but basically in one of them Shiki Tohno as in the Nanaya one not SHIKI essentially goes back in time mentally and shares Roa's body and sees how the whole thing between Roa and Arcueid happened and on one of the last scenes of that dream Shiki and Crimson Moon have a conversation with Brunestud taking Arcueid's princess form and Shiki saying that if Arcueid were to
(Carrying on from my last comment) succumb to her impulses then he would fight Arcueid to free Arcueid and Brunestud himself finding Shiki interesting and wishing him luck like i said you'll have to play Kagetsu Tohya to understand it properly
but Crimson Moon is male right? and Archteype:Earth is Arcueid old self right?when she was using her full power, so that means Arcueid is one of the Types then. But she is really evil?, i mean, why Roa was so happy when he managed to bring her back in his ending?
Brunestud is male and no official information has been released about Archetype:Earth and it was actually Brunestud that appears in Roa's ending at least that's what i've read and perhaps he thinks that he can fight on par with Brunestud himself which would be a very tough thing to do seeing as he is apparently stronger than even Arcueid and Altrouge
but Arcueid adress him as clown in the ending and that was how she always call him when he was her servant, before the battle when she turned into warcueid she call him clown too, or does Brunestud take control of her before the battle too?
yeah i know he make her drink blood, but i thought he knew her for a while so, when Roa make her drink blood, that was the first time they meet? Roa wanted to become an eternal existence but, what does he wanted to do after that? i never understood that guy
Yer that was their first meeting and other than become a complete immortal being he also wanted Arcueid herself as he fell in love with her when he first saw her
No, Roa had the opportunity to meet with Arcueid because he was the most powerful human around at the time and the True Ancestors needed someone to "teach" Arcueid to keep her from becoming Brunestud. She was the closest to becoming him due to her lack of feelings and incredible power. Original Roa probably had the capacity to fight against Brunestud, but all incarnations afterwords would be defeated quite absolutely. So, in a way, he was kinda her attendant, but it only furthered his plans.
Actually and this is revealed in one of the ten nights of dreams Roa was a priest seeking immortality and the church wanted to set up the Burial Agency so Roa went to the True Ancestors to set it up and to try to trick on of them into drinking his blood but when he got there he fell in love with Arcueid and so decided to trick her into drinking his blood which turned him into one of the most powerful dead apostles even to the point where he beat Altrouge
Roa was indeed a priest who was searching for eternity, but he already set up the Burial Agency with his probable-fuckbuddy Narbareck before the True Ancestors invited him to teach Arcueid, and he was also still the best human around. Roa only decided on his reincarnation method of immortality after meeting Arcueid, since it wasn't the perfect eternity he wanted, but one where he existed with Arcueid possibly forever. Roa absorbed her power, and he invented the method that allowed him to do it.
I'm not at all. The manga said that he was invited to be Arcueid's teacher by the True Ancestors (the author is supervised by Nasu). We both agree he was a priest. Tsukihime says he originally sought a perfect eternity but loving Arcueid changed his goals and made him choose reincarnation (which was similar to Brunestud's RM) over a perfect eternity. Original Roa could use Square, his EX spell amplifier, almost constantly. DA's don't take their parent TA's power; Roa made a way himself.
What're you asking of me? I just listed all of the ways what I said was entirely valid, bro. Of course I read the actual VNs, the canon sources, Tokuhon, the character contest descriptions, etc, etc. There's really nothing I've said that wasn't confirmed before. Except the Roa/Narbareck fucking thing, which was a joke. They DID found the Burial Agency together, however, and have a touching little discussion during Tsukihime where Narbareck doesn't stop Roa from going through with his plans.
Again, the manga used the term "teaching" for Roa handling Arcueid and turning her into more of a person so as to keep Brunestud from taking her over, which the True Ancestors asked for. Of course, Roa ended up loving Arcueid for her emptiness that made her transcendental, so it backfired. The manga was supervised by Nasu and follows the canon material pretty much to the dot: though some of the situations are altered, they play out exactly how they might have, and the backstory is not changed.
That's like saying "I don't care what the author says about his series, I'm going to stick to what he said previously even though he has consciously altered it." And that's ignoring Tokuhon and other information sources as well, including the contest descriptions and things written directly by Nasu.
Yeah.
Right.
Inb4 "Roa taught Arcueid" is part of the backstory used in the remake. Also the anime art book is the only way we'd know Arc had any connection with Zelretch, among other things.
