  • That's sick.

  • Hey what sound module are you using?

  • @zeonflare KORG R3.

  • Sweet dayumn, the sound produced by that thing is almost arousing. How hard is it to play something like that?

  • @AylatheRaichu LOL thanks man. It takes a little bit of time to get used to, but once you get it down, you're good. :)

  • why not just make the r3 into a keytar? thatd be sick.

  • Thank would be, but I'm selling it for a Radias. ;)

  • @VacTrooper

    lucky, lol.

    make a Radias keytar XD

  • LOL, now that would be funny!

  • @VacTrooper

so how did you manage to make this? I have no power tools or anything for a project like this.... and I want a keytar

  • I used a vacuum-forming machine to make the handles that I sculpted from plaster of paris. Once the parts were formed, I epoxied the handles in place, and made the seam less noticeable, and painted. Took me maybe a couple weeks to finish. I'm selling this, BTW (for cheaper than a Roland Keytar). If you're interested, let me know.

  • @VacTrooper

FML. If I hadn't dropped HS engineering at the start of the year (teacher was terrible and it hurt my GPA) I'd have access to the schools vacuum-forming machine.

And, while I can't promise I'll buy, I'm definitely interested. If the price is fair I may buy. Mind messaging me?

  • Real good!

  • thank you!

  • what patch did u use?

    [i have an r3 also]

  • I used the A26 Lead (Under vintage lead, I think) patch, and made it more velocity sensitive. I then cranked the Release to 127, and added a slow phaser. Oh, and I think a bass boost.

  • @VacTrooper thanks man, keep up the good work

  • ive always wanted a keytar... how much did it cost you?

  • I think this set me back about $40 or so. I already had the vacuforming machine on hand so... yeah. :)

  • how did you get a keytar for 40 bucks? i look on the internet all the time and ive never seen one lower than 800 bucks

  • I made it.

  • Yup, it's pretty big. Thank you!

  • Good sound. Looks a little big for a keytar though! Damn.

  • outstanding!! really nice. did you make it?

  • yes sir i did make this. thanks for the comment!

  • you'll get there. just put some money aside, and you'll get there. :D Just time and patience.

  • I want a Keytar, some awesome keyboards, and your skills, too. ;___; I'm getting there though.
