I want to buy the game, but I'm worried because the Can You Run It said I couldn't, it was the video card, everything on the video card was fine, just the fact the name is Intel 965. So I hope it works....
I checked out Sacred 2, I honestly have to say that it was kinda..lame. It breaks the 4th wall too much. Doesn't let me get into the story. It's not immersive enough. I think I'll try Neverwinter Nights instead.
@Screwattacker i havent played much of Sacred 2 but i loved the first game. The Sacred games are more like Diablo and hack-n-slash than the Fallout/BG-style of rpgs. The story in NWN2 is serviceable but make sure you get the Gold version that comes with the Mask of the Betrayer expansion. MotB is one of the best rpgs in years.
@Screwattacker yeah if you want a more action-oriented RPG, then you might want to skip NWN2. i personally like games like this and Dragon Age more than action RPGs.
@dylanroo Thanks. Well its different than either the GW or TES series of games. Not to sound like a shill or anything but the Gold version is like 20-30 dollars and i think is worth a shot. If you dont like it, you are only out a little money. If you do though, its a great ride :)
i prefer character camera mode just because i like 3rd person view better then overhead but online i use exploration mode camera i just make it more 3rd personish
id say NWN2 is worth a playthrough. Especially for the Mask of the Betrayer expansion. No need to play the first NWN game before the second. i didnt like NWN1 much. The campaign that came with it was kinda shitty.. its definitely Biowares worst effort. However, NWN1 is worth it for the mods and multiplayer. The Diamond version of NWN1 is like $20.

Yes.. there are more than 10 main companions that you pick up along the game. This is in addition to any that temporarily party with you. When they are not in your party they hang out at a base of operations (a bar at first and later your own castle keep).
You can get NWN 2 Gold for like $20-30 at most game stores. It comes with the main game and the first expansion. There might be another compilation coming soon that has the 2nd expansion and Mysteries of Westgate (a DLC expansion).. but no news on that yet unfortunately.

I play wow alot, and just the background to it is pretty good, but i wish that there was more storyline or into the game with it like NWN2. You know what i mean?
I like storyline and taking role in it like this game.
Orlen has an awesome voice. I keep expecting him to yell "You sure got a purdy mouth!"

it depends, if you like hack n' slash, go for sacred, if you like a more roleplay feel the go for this. but that's just my opinion. =)
