@jonEricMusic Maybe the fast decay was from recording outside and having the volume soaked up more quickly. Whatever it was, it sounded great! Keep on picking. :o)

Jon, that was the best picking I think I ever heard from you...awesome and the tone and fast decay sounded great too. Is that your regular banjo or another one? What mic is used and where it's played at the time sure has an effect on tone. Nice job!

Robin, the microphone was just just in the phone that shot the video.

I remember it being quite hot that day and we were all looking for

shade- perhaps the temperature had something to do with the tone?
