nice playing! but while plugging in your guitar to a PC soundcard- why not use a amp emulator, such as Amplitube or Free amp? you might wanna try that out. :-)

Oh I haven't played in YEARS! I used to play a little in high school but even then it was actually bass. I've owned a few bass guitars in the past but just recently picked up this guitar for kicks.

lulz. I kinda like that guitar too. I keep thinking that some day I'm going to get a Hello Kitty Stratocaster cuz it fixes most of what I hate about Stratocasters - the electronics are finicky, potentially noisy, and the hardware is pretty poorly designed. The HK Strat has one simple humbucker, a volume knob, a fixed bridge, and the output jack on the side instead of the front. Yours looks almost as simple (aside from the crappy jack in front). Rosewood fretboard (instead of maple) though. :(

as I mentioned I have no guitar amp, this guitar was plugged into the mic input on the soundcard via a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter. It sounded like crap no doubt.

LOL I actually don't work there anymore but I never changed my profile. I know the basics about tools and that's about it. I'm not a carpenter or construction worker so... yeah my reviews wouldn't be the best for that kinda stuff! I worked at one of the Black and Decker/DeWalt (Black and Decker owns DeWalt, Delta, Porter Cable etc etc.) repair stores and we sold factory refirbished tools and did all repairs on site. We also sold all the parts to do your own repairs (motors, gears etc)

you could plug your guitar on your computer Line signal,and if u use a program like amplitube you can use your computer as an amplificator,i use amplitube metal and it has lots of cool effects.

think you should have used line in on your sound card. line in don't boost the signal i think like the mic in does. could help with the sound and i think it might be made for stuff like this. i could be wrong.

Line in was so quite you could crank the volume up to full and still barley hear anything. I had to use the Mic in. But generally I would think Line in would be better hence I tried it first. Guitars signal out is so low power its probably closer to a mic than it is to line level.
