I know, I know, it sounds weird, but it's cause while Dante is super uber mega badass, Nero is just a better written character. He's 3 dimensional. He's badass, but also has emotions. Dante was good in DMC1, but after that he just became 1 dimensional.

Virgil still owns all though. :D
