MJ didn't invent the move. He took "The Slide" and just did that. He did it *very well*, and the media labelled it "moonwalking", but it had been a standard BBoy move for a while before MJ did it.

MJ was an immensely talented guy, but Mr Animation isn't imitating him: he's imitating other BBoys - and improving on them too, if you check his other stuff.

His popping and locking moves are world-class, and IMO more impressive than the Space Shuttle (aka "moonrunning").
