i have a 101st airborne D-day unifrom started but i am wondering should i get a musette bag or what should i get? i have a thompson, M42 reenforced top Staff Sergeant and bottoms an m1c helmet but no net or scrim or decals and jump boots what should i but next? suspenders

People,dont buy the m5 gas mask,because paratroopers disposed them and used it as a waterproof personal bag,like the mussete bag,But waterproof.And if you want to know what to put in the bag,put some spare U.S Underwear and socks in.

The 101st didnt wear invasion flags on the d-day jump, the 82nd did, the 101st wore them in the Market Garden jump though :)

some were given them apparently, but pretty much noone wore them, as dropping into enemy territory for the first time, with an american flag on your arm, pretty much said 'hey shoot me'

also, you might want to add the M42 pants suspenders, they are alot better in my opinion that a belt (i wear both, however) and can be worn with the M42 jumpsuit and M43 uniform

Nice video! But the M2 Paratrooper Helmet would be the only propper helmet, as the M1-C would have been used in Market Garen at the EARLYest! Also not everyone recieved their

M42s as reinforced - some didn't get them back in time or they would still use their "training uniform" (wich they were forced to do if they hadn't recieved the new reinforced one). And wool trousers/pants. A little more plus minus.. Keep making vids!!!!

hey, someone else besides me knows their stuff, excellent! The M2 was really only issued to those that served in Italy and Sicily before DDay, if they still had them, they used the M2, plus, the D-Bales can break off, and we don't want that happening
