this was fucking surreal, i cant believe i got so close, they were strangely exactly how i imagined they would be and the crowd was fucking hectic the heat wasnt as bad as 09 either.

I was kinda miffed I didn't make a break for the D barrier to REALLY nail a point blank shot in the mosh.. but lets face it, if I did, my camera would probably be in 50 million pieces right now and I would be eating through a straw.

I heard mixed reports from the night.. 1/2 of the peeps I talked to said they had NO troubles slipping through the D barrier and it was AAALL shits n giggles.. the other 1/2 then went on to tell me how much they were getting massacred in there (and they were standing up against the fence getting pushed BACK!)
of course, I'm never one to shy away from fullblown mosh combat in my photography (aaaah IGGY & THE STOOGES) but the BDO does have a funny way of multiplying the odds against you :)

Yeah my experience wasn't that bad. As soon as they came on everybody rushed forward but pretty much after Bombtrack the crowd cooled down a bit up until the encore!
