I met the drummer from rose tattoo in 2002, I was a spray-painter in a panelshop and he wanted to get his harley davidson painted, so i painted it for him in the colour he liked. when he picked it up he gave me a signed bottle of jim beam bourbon. got drunk 1 night years later and drank it with mates, woke up next thinking "Noooooooo"! ... would've been worth a bit of money now i guess.

Around June/July 2008 news came out about an unreleased Rose Tattoo lp that might be released. It was recorded between their 1st and 2nd lps and features Billy Thorpe of all people! Anybody know if/when this is gonna happen??? 2 years is a LONG time!!! C'MON!!!

@nicknasty14 To find the referrence look it up on Blabbermouth, type in Rose Tattoo in the archive search and find the article around June/July of 2008. Maybe it will never be released. I don't know if they ever came up with a name for it or not. If anybody knows more about this, give us a heads up.

Stop to search for the name, it hasn't got.It's usually called "rose tatoo" or " rock and roll outlaw"!It was edited in 1978 in Australia by J.Albert Pty and in1981 in France .I bought it because rose tatoo looked like AC/DC my favorite rock band ( my first lp was "high voltage").Pet Wells had a singular voice like Bon Scoot (RIP)

This footage is so rare. Thank God for you tube. Apparently Rose Tattoo were banned from Countdown for years after they performed Bad Boy For Love "live' on the show in 1978. It had something to do with Angry pretending to kiss the guitarist. It caused an outrage on Aussie t.v. and so they got banned from the show until about 1982

He didn't pretend, he did kiss him, lol! I saw them a couple of times live and one time at the Melbourne Exhibition Building for a youth thing there that was free to all teenagers. The only concert i have been to when nobody could stand close to the stage, they were that LOUD!!

the thing is to play Rock `n Roll You have to sound like Ac/Dc . Because Ac/Dc is a modern version of Rock `n Roll .. I dont see anything that they made that was similar to Ac/Dc ... these guys music are more filthy and raw. i have heard thats Ac/Dc soung on stage was the same as The Tatts.. so who is the one who is copying?
