There is NOTHING spectacular about this solo (besides being upside down...but so what?). I believe Travis is a good drummer, but he is nowhere near the best, like Neil Peart or Buddy Rich. Travis can play fast...but so can Neil and Buddy, and they incorporate much more into their drum licks than Travis ever does. And on top of that Travis has very narrow musicality. It's all speed on the snare. Like I said, there is absolutely nothing fantastic about this solo.

all you ponces who are hating on travis, he is such a good original beat maker, if youactually listened to some blink, or box car stuff you would, as a drummer, be able to hear his blazingly obvious unique style that he brings. honestly, its not all about being a fag ass muso with the most drums and cymbals, its about creating something that is yours, and people feeling it..

as a drummer, this pisses me off. drumming requires talent, skill, speed, and the abillity to make it look good. so what if he did a few flips on his kit and played some beats. to see true skill, go look up neil pert, assaf seewi, thomas lang, JOEY JORDISON! Joey raised, spinned, and hung from his kit, and had fast speed, great talent, and made it sounds fucking amazing! and for all you pussy's who want to rant on me for watching this, is because i've never heard his drumming before. disapointed

There is NOTHING spectacular about this solo (besides being upside down...but so what?). I believe Travis is a good drummer, but he is nowhere near the best, like Neil Peart or Buddy Rich. Travis can play fast...but so can Neil and Buddy, and they incorporate much more into their drum licks than Travis ever does. And on top of that Travis has very narrow musicality. It's all speed on the snare. Like I said, there is absolutely nothing fantastic about this solo.

It's intentional. He sings it that way anytime they play live. Just like in All The Small Things, Mark sings lower than Tom in the chorus at the end (you can hear it well in their latest performance of the song on leno)

Jimmy Sullivan (the rev r.i.p) was prob the best and neil pert and brann dailor. TRAVIS IS THE MAN THOUGH AND IS MY FAVORITE..mechanically though hes not the best..
