the only thing that tops this was the death of BJ and friggin awesome Felicia saying to Tony..."No....not Barbara Jean's heart." OMG> GH at it's finest. The 90s were truly the last of the last of awesomeness.
My heart aches so much that i can't stop tears from falling. These emotional scenes have crippled me, even though they were aired years ago. BRAVO GH!

Stone got aids from an old girlfriend who was a drug user. If you watch the episode where sonny tells brenda stone has aids he tells her all about it.
I would like to know who was writing the show then - WOW! GH in it's glory days. I was glued to my tv. Even scheduled my college classes so I could watch everyday. I really miss these good storys. This particular one was heartbreaking. I was crying watching this again. Thanks for posting it!
This was back when Claire Labine was the head writer for GH. She was an incredible writer and I miss her writing so much. Guza is NOWHERE near as good as she was. This was GH at its best and I really miss it.
this is one of the saddest scenes ever on gh stone dying and sonny sitting there and just crying being sad but understanding he isnt suffering anymore always need a tissue after watchin this scene michael sutton deserved an emmy for this
Did Michael Sutton win an emmy for this stoy line if not he son deserved one and so did Maurice, Vanessa and Kelly. They were all great at capturing the raw emotions that came with such a hard life topic.
Maurice Benard gave an amazing performance here. It was so beautiful and he is so beautiful. I adored Sonny's love for Stone and Robin. Sonny later said that all he ever wanted was siblings and those were Stone and Robin. Jason and Ric are okay but Stone and Robin were better. He shared something so amazing with that. Maurice Benard really knew how to bring it. I just wish they would give him better stuff today. Or he should go to Y&R. They have been calling him there there to play Vic's bro.
This was just as painful to watch now as it was when the story first aired. Ugh, so sad. :(

I loved Sonny's reaction. Very realistic--so sad, and yet so relieved that Stone wasn't suffering anymore.

TMI, but my mother died when I was young and MB captured everything I felt in that moment. Beautiful acting.
