  • I think Dr. Richard Johnson, Dr. Lustig, Dr. Ponder, & others r linking fructose specifically to driver 4 physical addiction 2 "sugar". Sugar is 50 percent glucose & 50 percent Fructose. It doesn't have buffers, such as vit C/fiber/minerals that inhibit rapid absorption of fructose. & according to Dr. Richard Johnson, studies indicates liver can process about 25 grams of fructose in any 24hr period, excluding any other stresses on liver, exposure to other toxins, disease, or poisons.

  • There is a great book called "The Sweet Poison Quit Plan" by David Gillespie. It's an Australian book and I highly recommend it. It's life changing

  • Get your sugars from complex carbs and you won't get sugar cravings. Plus you won't get sugar spikes in your blood or the withdrawal problems later.

    Avoid chocolate for the same reason you want to avoid coffee. Caffeine is in the same drug family as cocaine.

  • Refined sugar in any amount is poison. Refined flour, sugar, and salt are the three white poisons!

  • @leeannpatt1 I had to quit sugar for a while and when I would taste things that were sweetened, it was overwhelming, kind of gross. You get used to everything being so sweet. If you bring your tolerance down, a little goes a long way.

  • Good bye donuts! Good bye wonder bread! Good bye folgers! I don't know if I can do it, but I'm planning on trying. I just read it and they make it pretty easy if I can just do what I need to do. This book tells you how it is and if you are eating a lot of bread and cookies and soda you might need to read this book too. You should go ahead and fill out the questions and see if you are sick.
