Let me explain something that people don't understand... this phone is awesome. You don't like the ticker? You should've messed with a display model before buying it. Let me give you and ACTUAL reason to not buy it. All "phone preferences" aside, don't get this because if you want 2.2 you're Screwed!!!! Which means, NO Google Music App, and you can't even use the sound port on the freaking $45 dock. 2.1 Eclair is stupid, and worthless for apps. Verizon is stupid for not pushing the OTA out.

This phone is a TOTAL piece of shit. The ticker is totally useless and does little more than rob screen size from the main display and slow down the performance. No Froyo, and Bing cannot be uninstalled. Took it back and got HTC Droid Incredible for same price, a better camera, Froyo, Google instead of Bing, larger screen, and no ridiculous gimmicky ticker display. Continuum is a pice of shit -- Don't get it!

@darizob Lol. I have the continuum running froyo and Cyanogen Mod 7. There isn't a OFFICIAL release for 2.2, but you can upgrade it to 2.2 if it's rooted, which isn't hard. It's actually a really good phone. I prefer it over the droid in a way. and you can disable bing if you're rooted.
