About a month to play/memorize it? I learned it with my teacher once a week and practiced in between. However, I learned it a few years ago and played in this video by memory. A few parts are off tempo and I added a few parts by mistake.
Thanks for your feedback re my comment about the pedal.
However,if you're playing this piece from memory- from your comments I think you are-well done! In fifty+ years of playing ,that is something I have never been able to do. I would appreciate any tips you might have on memory playing.
Honestly, I have no clue on giving advice on playing pieces from memory. It was just something I had to get used to when I was taking lessons. I suppose from personal experience, I would say you would have to be able to practice a piece until it's perfect and have the ability to audiate the piece in your mind. That way you have a clear vision of the piece and are able to express it onto any instrument. Since it seems you have a ton of experience, picking it up shouldn't be too hard.
Sorry, but I can't, not on this one. It'd take too long and it's probably even more helpful to find someone else to teach instead of me. Also, the piece isn't too difficult. It would take more time, but using sheet music and self-teaching yourself will also make you better.
i couldnt find anyone...i selfteach by watching tutorial vids...im an easy learner by watching but by reading i suck...it takes me forever coz i always get frustrated with the coordination but if im watching im good.
Aw i love this song! When i first heard Shizuma and Nagisa play this on strawberry panic i immediately knew i had to learn how to play this song. I can only play one song on the piano, and i definitely want to learn how to play this one!!! :) You played it splendidly! :)
I think I heard my teacher playing this, the book is somewhere among my book shelves just got to find the sheet... even if I have to play all of them (over 200...) to find it...
PS: I didn't forget about the arrangement, I catched a flu that knocked me out for long two weeks... but I'm still working on it. Half of the piano, the guitar and the drums. Then it's done.
Ahh.. this sounds so... pretty and nostalgic 8D~ It has such a good old classical feel to it too o_O. The only main issue that I have with this is your inconsistent tempo but it was a very minor problem so :) Plus it's tough to play those appergio's X"D
Thank you. This recording was actually pretty hard just because my living room is the hottest room out of my house and I took this video in 88 degrees Celsius. >_O;
I also didn't use a fan because I'd probably get distracted from it. xD;
Oh GAWD. That's the pretty much the same situation for me... I get so hot playing the piano in the summer, and man, it sucks. Thank goodness for air conditioning.
Wait a sec... CELSIUS? That's 190.4 degrees Fahrenheit isn't it? O_o You meant Fahrenheit, didn't ya. X)
Dude, you did it! Yay!! I'm so happy. Listening to this is so much fun. Your fingers are way more experienced than mine are, that's safe to say. Great job with it overall. Go Strawberry Panic! :3
Nice job! cool!

xXxd00ditsrachxXx 3 years ago
Nope, the notes were fairly easy to read. The tempo is just the hardest thing to get used to.

you added some extra notes with the 32nd notes, but what the hey, still a very pretty and beautiful song!

I lost the sheet music awhile back, so I didn't remember some of the parts. xD
Wtfhaxxorz 3 years ago
You need to take your foot off the pedal at end of each bar to avoid sound confusion.
thrippleton 3 years ago 2
Yeah, a lot of people tell me that actually. I'll have to work on that. Thanks.

Wow. This song is so ambient and beautiful it just uplifts your mood.
Excellently done.
5 stars!XD

It's an extremely beautiful song, isn't it?
I've misplaced my sheets awhile ago, but I'm sure I can find them if you want. :D
And I hope you feel better. As I've said before, take your time on the arrangement. There's no rush. I'm sure it's going to sound great in the end.

Yeah, it was tough playing those notes. I tried my best doing them, but I knew I couldn't play them as I should've.
But thanks, you're insight and comments are always appreciated. :D

And I'm sure you can play this. It's just because I learned this last year so much that I actually remember it until today.
And thank you. I appreciate the compliment. :]
