Arguello always came on in the 13,14,and 15th rounds. I've watched this fight many times and I saw Arguello starting to come on as he ALWAYS did in the championship rounds. I noticed Pryor,who was NOT accustomed to 15 rounders, get weaker in the 13th. You could see a shift in momentum in Arguello's favor. Then, in the 14th suddenly Pryor comes out like it's the very first round. Anybody who doubts Pryor cheated, I got two words--Panama Lewis.

The rematch Pryor won fair but the first fight probably cheated. You don't mix water with water and that's the only thing your allowed to drink in the corner so "not that one the one I mixed" raises eyebrows they later claimed it was peppermint snops which is clearly bs. Also Panama Lewis(Pryors trainer at the time) was very notorious for cheating like when he removed the padding in Resto's gloves.

Suicide just doesn't sound like something Alexis Arguello would have done, especially after becomming the mayor of Nicaragua in 2008. He's always been fighting for Nicaragua, why would he throw his gloves in now.

I personally believe that his death could have been planned out because of his persistant views for the poor in his country. It's the same JFK, Bob Marley, Martin L. King, John Lennon story, a good guy trying to oppose the Gov. and unfortunately dies or is somehow assassined. It's B.S!

I feel really sad for Arguello with him being so depressed and lost the will to live. Only god knows the hurt he must have been feeling to do such a thing. He was a really nice man that loved his family and only give up against Pryor to stay alive and do whats best for his familly. I know Arguello must have felt really bad to take his life but see the way he shot himself in the chest and took the pain so his face wasnt destroyed and his family could still see his face R.I.P.
