  • First time I watched this episode and the stars were going across the sky I said to my friends I was watching it with......gentlemen we have achieve lightspeed

  • well it is originally German,so why not. Sounds great

  • Sorry German peeps but ORIGINAL version of Gunslinger girls sounds a lot cutter!!! Beats you!!!!

    xD

  • The japanese version is much better than the german version

    WTF !:D

  • I shed manly tears...

  • It's so interesting to find this in all the different languages... Naturally, the German version sounds the best for this song. It's so... wow.

  • The best part of the final episode from the first season.

  • Hennrietas voice sounds a lot better here, you can tell its actually a kids voice, not some 30 year old voice actress trying to sound like a 12 year old.

  • @eacortes

the japanese and german dub had almost the same age when they did the dub

    20 and 17

  • german children with guns are going to haunt my nightmares

  • darn i like it better on japanse, the voice of triela is a lot better in japanase version, plus i am a lil sad because they did it in both german and english but not italian, and it is also ironic cuz it is localized in italy... well as usually we italians never have the good animes untill i already spotted and saw them ^^ (they gaved us a italian version of code geass first season this year, and death note last year... so sad really :S)

  • It's mainly because the languages both have similar pronunciation models for lack of a better term. They also speak at similar gait and pitch. Whether pronunciation and pitch are related, I cannot say.

  • german seems to suite this anime more than english

  • @vivelevive That seems true with many anime, then again, German and Japanese is strikingly similar.

  • not really. but maybe because i speak english mostly. both just sound like jibberish to me

  • German is my second language and I have to say I enjoyed this version as well as the English one. Wundervoll anime!

  • Das ist prima! although i like English version better :)

  • *GASP* they show this in Germany to.

  • most of europe usually gets japanese anime before america

  • Thats because they are our Ginny pigs. we test things on them before we bring them to the motherland! muhahahah

  • not really

  • they are cyborgs they know many language

  • Actually Triela does know French, German, and Italian XD

It's open-ended, but she's alive in the sequel. So whatever she had, she survived it. Well, maybe she just fell asleep. But I never thought this could be so sad ^^

Ansonsten super! :D 5 / 5 Stars

  • Gunslinger Girl sounds pretty good in German. I'll jave to try and find this.

  • @pinballguy17 Lots of luck, but if you do succeed let me know Please.
