those very last notes that you used to get to that sweet last chord over lord you are good was very out of the box 2 me brol! the chord itself was mind boggling, thanks 4 the vid im definately using this stuff GODS WILL!
You are blessed man. I have a suggestion from a keyboardist stand point, and if I am wrong let me know, but I think it would be good to identify the quality of the chord, if its major or minor, and understand the intervals of the notes in the chord in relationship to the bass note and go from there. For example on bass I only learned to find the third of a chord. So if I got an open B string, I just gotta know where D# is right? If its major....
thanks alot bro.. u a beast too.. im tryna get there kinda soon.. still tryna learn the whole theory of it.. its kinda tough bcuz im coming from drums.. any tips ma man?
@rgreenmuzik Well I'm kind of in the same boat with the theory. I am taking a intro to music theory class this semester and I am working on my reading. But a good deal of playing bass is learning the positions and the fretboard which is why some people just starting out play mostly on 1 string. Learning where the notes are inrespect to each other makes things much smoother
@knightmayorz I have been enjoying your videos and I am glad thay you are posting bass lessons now. Cheryl James & VOW is a great album. Maybe you can do a video for one of the songs.
Awesome job. Somethings that a beginning bassist hears seems to be so difficult when they are actually easy. Thanks for the post. Kepp them coming. I can't wait to get home to plug up.
You are Amazingly talented. Can you post a Visual of you doing this.
