Could you do Amazing by Blue October. That would be awesome. I haven't found any good tabs or chords for that song :/ And I doubt I could tab it myself. But I love that song haha.

@greasygore You play the song with Capo on the 2nd fret. The first chord is a Bm, then Am, then C and G and then I'm still stuck. ^^ Have to work on it when I have some time...

@bpaeffjay Thanks! This song means a lot to me. I did think about transcribing the vocal notes to guitar and add that instead of the backing track. Might be a thing for future covers. I'm still not overly happy with recording via the soundcard. Sometimes the result is okay, sometimes it's rubbish... very frustrating. Btw haven't forgotten about the collaboration. I just still haven't put any efford in figuring out the rest of Dirthouse. ;)

I've been playing for almost 4 years. For that time period I should be MUCH better than that by now... I never had any lessons though, so I'm pretty happy with where I am. I've been trying to catch up on some theory recently. =)

Mhm. i saw the 18th Floor Balcony altho i find that one a little harder to play than Black Orchid, but practice makes perfect. Once I'm good enough i'll post a reply video so I can show off the results. :D

I'd say both songs are about the same playing level because it's basic chords fingerpicked. However the song structure of Black Orchid is easier, because it's really , ABSOLUTELY the same thing over and over again. :D 18th Floor has some variations in it. For how long have you been playing? Oh yeah, definitely post a reply video! That'd be cool! =)

Yup, it'll be acoustic also. Just a better recording sound than on electric. It's fun to play the solos. And it's just about hitting the right notes anyway. The solo in Black Orchid is also done by violin. Worked perfectly on the guitar though. ;) Have fun playing! And did you check out my "18th Floor Balcony" cover, too? =)
