  • @sicktoaster Yes, but men who are circumcised still have the ability to feel pleasure. Even though it may be a part of their culture, change is a very important part of humanity. Sometimes, we just need to put the past traditions behind us, because we are often better off without them. But then again, everyone is entitled to an opinion. :)

  • I don't see what the big deal is.

Sure if they were trying to bring that to America I'd be the first to put my foot down and say "NOT in my country".

But this is our culture, that's their culture. Some people find male genital circumsicion to be just as bad.

Isn't it disrespectful to the ideals of diversity and multiculturalism to sit around judging these people.

And didn't Jesus say "judge not lest you be judged". We're not only bad-mouthing another people, we're turning against our own values.

  • Change the culture if it's sick...especially in Saudi Arabia. The prophet's wives rode camels which is equivalent to a car. The Prophet said that nothing in Islam should be forced on anyone. So you are actually going against true Islam when you force women to cover, or force them to practice the religon, it is supposed to be a free choice. I say this because fgm happens majority in Islamic countries/cultures and has no basis. We need to purge Islamic cultures from these horrible practices.

  • line" used to be an acceptable part of our American culture until recently. Raping a woman if she had the reputation (wrongly or not) of putting out of because of how she was dressed was and still is a part of our "evolved" culture. Lynching black people in the south used to be an ingrained part of our culture. Are these things okay or civilized and acceptable because they are "cultural"? Hell to the no. That's why it pisses me off when people use the excuse that it's cultural. Change the

  • You know some people say things like female genital mutilation, child brides, oppression of women (i.e. not being allowed to vote or drive, and not having the choice to cover or uncover and being forced to cover) and honor killings are "cultural" so are therefore in some way protected and we should not interfere. Well, I've got news for you. Killing Jewish people in Europe as a sport used to be part of the culture, it being acceptable for men to beat their wives to "keep them in li

  • This procedure is cruel and very harmful to the female, both mentally and physically, there is no need for it, its just tradition and im very happy to know that communities are waking up to the reality of FGM and are taking a stand against it. It may still take time but it will eventually cease to exist...

  • Female genital mutilation (FGM) is the number one reason never to have sex with an African woman. No matter how good they might look, African woman are frigid: no good when it comes to sex.

African men are assholes, so stay away from African men my fine non-FGM women!

  • @Rangerpjonwebx can you imagine why though? they are butchered, and told all their lives that sex is a mans pleasure. would you still enjoy sex if they head of your penis was cut completely off? im glad you are for not mutilating perfectly wonderful vagina, but please dont call these women frigid without thinking very hard on why they may act that way.

  • It will be a great day in the world when we end the unnecessary mutilation of all children's genitalia, male or female. It is an insanity that must end.

  • ove the film, but hate the music you used -- too vibrant for such a horrific violation of human rights of females.

  • I'm doing mhy research paper on this. It will be wonderful if i can share this film as part of my presentation. wish me luck! =)

  • all these mutilators . go to hell , suck my dick . this is pathetic .

  • How sad:'( Poor girls:(

  • I have several articles out on this.

  • Men might as well go to the bathroom on a woman that has been mutilated that's basically what this act is you're robbing the woman of her self worth and everything she is. Let's cut off testicles and see how these men fair?

  • I am a 15 year girl from Mali and THANK YOU for saying these things. I was cut when i was 11 and it is the most horrible thing that ever happened to me. I will never do it to my children. NEVER!!! I hope more people learn from movies like this and help

  • @badmoney66 May Jesus protect you and your children when that time comes for you.

  • Now we are talking!! Finally a video on the horrors of this FGM that doesn't make its victims sound like suckers. I hope everyone watches this and LEARNS from it. These women are braver than most I know in the West - they don't need our sympathy or disgust of this FGM - they need our respect. They have mine!!!!!!

  • @MysteryGirl899 I hear you! I hvae been following this issue for many years, and most of the videos on youtube are full of shock and horror tactics. We know it's horrible! But too rarely do we get a chance to know the people working on stopping it. Rock on MysteryGirl!

  • Brave women and a couple of very cool young men. These people are everywhere. This is a fantastic video to stop all those people I read on sites who put everyone in the same box. These are strong Muslims, strong women and now strong daughters!!!!

  • Brilliant!! So nice to hear the VOICES of the real people who suffer from FGM. Please keep working UNICEF to help the girls around the world not have these horrors happen to them.
