  • Acually GM trucks are the best selling trucks when the sales of Chevy and GMC are added together.Ford trucks are a huge pain to sell, can't anyone to buy these pieces of shit.Plus they are called cheap trucks and my father can prove it.My father is an used car dealer and sees this a lot at dealer only auctions.Chevy trucks bring the most money,Dodge is a close second and Ford is dead last.He even watched a 1997 Ford expediton go for $1,300.00 once.

  • i own two of the best trucks ever made, a 1985 ford f-250 and a 1998 chevorlet silverado 2500, ford has way more power but the chevy has been in the shop once! for a fuel pump

  • the next commercial is the ford ranger doing the same thing in reverse.

  • Ford had to make a big block do what gm and dodges small blocks could do!!!!!!!!

  • @pherdog82 Now a days ford kick their asses with smaller motors, what do you say about that?

  • @jordtizzle Well they had to add twin turbos on there engine to do what a small block chevy would do, put twin turbos on a 4.3 and it will eat that little ford a live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @pherdog82 they didnt have to do anything, they did it to get v8 power with v6 gas millage, the ecoboost shits on the chevy 6.2 as well

  • @jordtizzle well man all i can say is i've owned fords and i've owned chevy's and my chevy's are still around while my fords are scrapped out, my buddy worked on a pipeline and they all used fords, he said they replaced more engines and transmissions all the time, he said the f 550 powerstroke was a gutless piece of shit, you keep driving the blue oval, but i'll stick to my chevy, its got 250,000 miles and will out pull out run any ford from that year

  • @pherdog82 Come around here and i guarantee there is plenty of fords with closer to 500,000 miles and will yank that chevy of yours around the block

  • @jordtizzle I would take 3 fords to pull my chevy around the block, i'm still waiting on a ford to show me, i've been waiting since 97

  • @pherdog82 ok whatever you say

  • my f150 broke down on me... time for a toyota i guess.

  • @mmmmhonda Watch out for rusty frames.

Oh j/k. I love my 88 F-150 work tuck- but it is a 5 speed manual 300 6 2wd truck, which is the best way to have an old work truck. Toyota trucks are great if you want small, but rather pricey for what you get. Love me the old 22R/E engine though. :-) For the money- a 90s Ranger is hard to beat.

  • Its grand motors

  • ford needs to recreate this commerical again! thats too awesome!

  • @Icandrum2 i highly doubt fiberglass could hold up a 1/2 ton truck...

  • @bmw2go11 sadly your right....... it aint like how it used to be......

  • Ford Tough Dodge and GM truck Sucks.

  • mabye the other way around fords suck in every way

  • Kiefer I've only ever seen one chevy ambulance and that was a 4500...lately I've seen more and more fourth generation dodge ambulances...i don't think ford even makes new ambulances anymore

  • HOLY_SHIT!

  • both the Chevy and Dodge were probably gutted...

  • Best Ford Commercial Ever!

  • '

this blue truck is empty and light weight on 000 to 005,,,

two white trucks are empty again and both light weights on 006 to 026,,,

plus the videocamera is little turn left degree down and look like up hill,,,

    but trick commerical

  • *wipes tear* its just so beautiful

  • If you look at one frame the truck was on a road going up the hill with the chev and dodge.

  • My 97 f150 couldn't even pull a gutted mustang up a 2 foot ramp.

  • @MrIloveprettyboys My 01 wont either. I like it though. It is the most pitiful at pulling something I ever seen though. Its a 6 cly I guess is why........

  • @Kagaines Mine was a v8 4 wheel drive. It was pathetic.

  • @Kagaines @MrIloveprettyboys You guys bought the wrong years IMO,the 96 was the last good year

  • @84Bronco351 I had a 95 that was my favorite truck ever. I have had a lot of them too. It was a inline 6 cyl. One of the thoghest motors ever made.

  • @Kagaines that's funny,my dad just sold his 95,I loved it,but his had a 302,pretty torquey for what they did to it

  • WOW i think i just jizzed myself hahaha Fords are always gonna be BEASTS!!!! XD

  • Salut gagne de vous autre, j ai un f-250 1989 a 335.257 km et il roule toujours . Très bon camion . Moteur 5.0 prend 1/2 litre d huile au 2000 km. P.s. Arrêter de commenter sur des Ford pinto pour dire que c de la bull shit , on le c .ici on parle de camion !

  • Dang we need more commercials like this one man

  • hey how many of these trucks do you see now? how many chevys and dodges do you see from this year? the only thing good ford ever made was mustangs, thats it!

  • well now, ford has always made a good truck and good profits but I would never buy any ford product. Does anyone remember the pinto and the people that burned in them? In a board meeting they decided not to recall the pinto because it would be cheaper to let people burn and pay off the lawsuits then fix the car.........yup, profits were more important then the customers. Let them burn, let them suffer in a burn ward for months, and let there family's suffer with them!!!!!

  • @11TwistedHalo you need to learn from experience and i agree the pinto was a piece of shit. but dude. that was 40 years ago. Fords now are built tough and always will be. you CANT tell me that there is a vehicle company that hasnt built a shitty car

  • Now put that cummins you took outtve the dodge back where it belongs

  • Oh spare me......

  • Ford builds trucks, tractors, back hoes, loaders. Call it, what you will, but when it comes to the big dogs tried and proven beats

    All.

  • @mustangfan1995 we all know that one

  • @chris1234399 yah thats a chevy

  • who gives a shit if the commercial is bull.its fucking awsome and ford still kicks ass

  • Love how they had to put a chevy engine in a ford to make a commercial funny

  • @lambet2 why would they put a chevy motor in a ford that makes no sence?

  • Thats BS. I like ford the best, but come on! The newer fords couldn't even hold a fully loaded truck. For the commercial, that chev in the back of the ford probably has no engine or anything like that.

  • what they didn't tell you that after pulling those trucks up the hill the tranny went out as a typical Ford will do from time to time.

  • @bgrmd umm my dads comany has 9 fords 150s-350s with over 260k miles on them and there has not been 1 problem with them and my expedition with 180k miles doesn't have any problems either

  • @DJSW1F7 thats cool mne have the same but there chevys only diffrence is im not asham to drive my trucks

  • Comment removed

  • @wtl1964 who said anything about being ashamed to drive a truck... you make me lol

  • @DJSW1F7 true that seperates then men from the boys driving hondas

  • @bgrmd I not sure where you are getting the tranny failures from. We've had numerous Ford's, Chevy's, a few Dodge's, two Toyota, and one Nissan pickups over the years and the only two that had ever had any tranny trouble were an '88 Chevy and an '88 Nissan. The Chevy's overdrive was changed out for a stronger non-OD because it couldn't take the strain of the trailers it was pulling and the Nissan has a lot of miles on it but it never really saw much work.

  • @bgrmd Yea you must know alot because we have dead bow ties and dodges here with that problem. My f-100 has over 600,000 miles on it and it was a work truck for a rock company! Original trany btw.

  • eight people dont know what a real truck is!

  • That chevy and dodge needed help to get up that hill. Just like they needed help from the govt. to stay in business.

  • @whatuautado ya. when this commercial originaly came out was about the time that dodge had to take their first government bailout. and now chevy had to take a gov. bailout and when all the government money is gone! they will demand there money from chevy putting them out of business and same with dodge when they want there money from cash for clunckers.

  • @whatuautado u do know ford makes 75% percent of goverment vehicals,,.........firetrucks,cop cars,ambulances.. there alllllll ford

  • @MrLj410 And 100% of IMCA stock cars are Chevy's go figure!

  • @MrLj410 except when the 6.0 came out ambulances and smaller fire rigs didnt run cuz the motors sucked so they went to gm for the duramax and allison

  • @kiefer1234566767 and now ford actually has a fuckin kick ass diesel..

  • @whatuautado Because only best trucks are built Ford Tough!

  • @whatuautado get your terms straight it's "Government Motors"

  • @whatuautado WRONG Ford took govt. money also, just under the name Ford Credit

  • @darkpenguin94

Ford didnt take a bailout _knowing_ they were gonna go bankrupt.

  • @PulitOutItHurts They still took it none the less, because they expected if they didn't they would go bankrupt. And they want people to think they didnt take a bailout, so they went with Ford Credit

  • Ford always beats the shitty vehciles dodge and chevy make!

  • this is fake

  • children.....

  • Lies...

  • @FDD2012 your a power FAG.

  • @MrKenworthman112 and your slimmy little communist shit twinkled-toed cocksucker.

  • @FDD2012 how the fuck am i a communist? you must not even know what that means. your a fucking fag that likes it in the brown eye. and in your spare time you go docking with 14 year old boys while tering to make them gay like you. shut the fuck up. we all know your gay dont reply trying to hide it. fucking faggot.

  • @MrKenworthman112 well its quite obvious that no one on youtube can prove that I'm gay. so quit trying to be a guarded badass.

  • @FDD2012 just shut up.

  • @MrKenworthman112 see someone put you in ur 14 year old place. you poser

  • These commercials are really in your face aren't they? Amazing to watch them decades later.

  • Ford = Built TOUGH

  • not sure about that because chevy trucks have PROVEN that they're the longest lasting trucks on the road. go to any auto websites, mid 90s chevy trucks are still on the road today and have an amazing resale value because they are the most reliable. i know someone at a dealership and he says that to just replace spark plugs on a new ford truck, they have to literally take the entire front part of the truck off just to get to them. fords doing too much while chevys still running just fine

  • @cardinal015 I'm not hating on Chevys. I just like Ford better. Besides, I see alot of early 90's Fords on the road, covered in rust but still running like a champ.

  • not sure how that one argument got started, but lol who wants to see more trucks???? hahahaha

  • havoc used that sample for hnic

  • Wish i knew somebody with a time machine.

  • i really love how after all the shit ford has proved over the years gm and dodge fans still talk shit even when they see that ford trucks always win in any competition so gm and dodge fans u lose yet again and its always gonna stay that way so suck it =)

  • Off screen they had a Cummins pulling 'em all.

  • @shemp34 damn straight

  • i almost believe this, my 84 f350 xlt has some serious torque, i can pull anything with the 460. even a gutted dodge!

  • Man, and I thought today's commercials were ridiculous!! Haha! I've always wanted to see this done with the new trucks, now I know why they don't. It's hilarious!! The best part is that the one on the bed is sideways, like an injured animal or a lady who's fainted. Go Ford!!

  • i hate ford!

  • Do the other two trucks have their engines in them? Cause back in the day if there's not much weight there then those are pretty light.

  • This generation was terrible 81=86

  • Must Just of been The Looks Because the trucks themselves were Great

  • the thing is, chevy will be able to do what the ford did, and pull the mountain with it

  • Even though diesels have gone along ways in producing more power. I still miss the rumble of the old 460 big block.

  • gay ass swing axles...crap camber changes...good for bump steer...better off with a solid front...or true IFS

  • @vettelover2009 It's a truck, not a sports car.

  • @arizonaresident1 yeah...well swing axles are unsafe when you actually use it like a truck and not just driving it on pavement to go to the grocery store...really faulted design...plus ford sucks ass

  • @vettelover2009 idk mine did fine when my 7000lb f250 diesel hit a 2 foot ditch doing 25 offroad

  • @kobach try it with a F150 1/2 ton truck and see how it comes out...because thats what theyre comparing...and swing axles are not true IFS, they change camber angles as the move through theyre arc...GM has true IFS, and it will take being driven like a truck

  • @vettelover2009 Ford uses Twin Tractor Beam not swing axles and TTB is a true IFS I would know I have a 94 full size bronco and a 03 F250. GM uses A-frame IFS and as much I hate to break it to you GM uses cv joints on its IFS and if you have ANY lift and take it off road more than one you WILL have cv joint problems. The TTB setup is kind of like a combination of a solid axel and IFS and although I'd take TTB over IFS any day offroad a solid axel is the way to go because it has less moving parts

  • @bjames1530 they are absolutely swing axles, I'm referring to this 1985 F-150, not a 94 bronco numbnuts...go ahead and call ford and embarass yourself...they are swing axles no matter what you call them...And...I have a 7" lifted IFS 04 Silverado...offroaded it...No CV shaft problems whatsoever as the angles haven't been changed except for the driveshaft angles, since everything has been dropped or compensated for...so stop talking out of your ass

  • @vettelover2009 Take it a couple more times, you'll find out soon enough. I have both the I-beam and the TTB, and both designs are near indestructible. Chevy IFS, however, not so much. At least Ford makes their new F-150 IFS the right way.

  • @supersnot4 been many times...yet to break anything...Not even a noise from the CV shafts...I'm not easy on it...so I don't know what any of you people are talking about...never had much of an issue...although my big ass wide tires did wear out a tie rod end...ooohhh...changed my scrub radius and didn't compensate in the alignment...sue me...So far all fords trucks are square blocks that look dated to me...last decent looking truck they made was in 2003-2004ish

  • @vettelover2009 I personally don't care how a truck looks, that's not really the point of a truck. However, I acually like the look of the new Fords, it's all a matter of opinion. I've seen two Chevy front ends break. One was a 1-ton pickup, '03 I believe. It was towing a trailer in 2 wheel drive, on a graded road. Hit a small bump and next thing you see is front tires pointing opposite ways. Other was a 3/4 ton, more aggressive off-roading, but nothing that should break a tie-rod.

  • @supersnot4 shit, form and functionality...the only thing ford might have with the raptor is function...but its still ass ugly. And, I don't know the whole details of your story, truck weight loaded/unloaded, trailer weight loaded/unloaded...for all I know you could of overloaded both and the rock wwas the straw that broke the camels back...So that story means diddly squat to me. one isolated incident. I've seen How swing axles react when the hit a pothole or bump. major camber change=dangerous

  • @vettelover2009 When a solid axle hits a bump or pothole, there's a huge camber change as well, on both wheels. It's no more dangerous than any other car hitting a rock or pothole. I of all people should know, I drive an old F-250 every day. Also, I named two incidents, neither of which was overloaded by the way. I've loaded both my F-250s (one with twice the weight in logs, truck and trailer) on mountain trails, which I actually have videos of, numerous times. Never had a problem.

  • @vettelover2009 As for the Raptor, that's a beautiful truck to me. Like I said, looks are all about opinion, shouldn't matter to a truck.

  • @supersnot4 Holy shit...really...I couldn't of fucking guessed with that gay ass avatar you have...jesus christ...Thanks captain obvious...

  • @vettelover2009 Oh you mean my Profile Picture? You like it? Thanks, put it together myself in Photoshop a year or so ago. Glad you see my side of things now :)

  • @supersnot4 yeah, it shows...that shit is fucking gay

  • @vettelover2009 Hey, it's definitely better than your profile picture. Pretty sad though, you've been reduced to trying to insult me through my profile pic... get a life man.

  • @supersnot4 I'm not posting any sort of personal information about myself on a Website...all you need to know is my alias...and just to sort this out...you say its better than my profile pic, which is an insult, then say I've reduced to insulting you about yours...wow...bunch a fucking geniuses on this here youtube...I tell ya what...

  • @vettelover2009 Yeah, of course you won't post anything, because you'd rather hide behind your computer screen and argue, with no possible consequences. If we were standing next to each other, you probably wouldn't say anything. You can't just admit that you were wrong, so you changed the subject altogether. And I was being sarcastic about your picture, because it's the same as a million other faceless YouTubers.

  • @supersnot4 If we were standing right next to each other, I'd tell you the same damn shit, and you wouldn't do anything about it, but be in shock, just like most people...then stumble on your words with a comeback, that would fail miserably...I have no problem telling people how it is, computer screen or face to face...you don't know me so you really wouldn't know...but I still would of called you a faggot

  • @vettelover2009 You'd call me a faggot, on what basis? I'd say what's on my mind face to face, as I've done many times before on plenty of different subjects. Now obviously this isn't getting anywhere. Pretty hard to prove anything to me if all you are to me is "vettelover2009" All I can assume is that you love corvettes, and probably have a bunch of posters of them hanging on the wall in your room, which I can only assume you never leave except to go to the school bus stop.

  • @supersnot4 That's what you get for assuming...I owned a corvette...sold it recently, and I am not a teenager...so you are wrong on all counts...now from your photoshop pic...that tells me you are young, have too much time on your hands, and really don't know jack shit about cars...I do, and have the degrees, and certifications to prove it...you haven't offered any such information that proves you know a fucking thing...except that you towed....ooooohhhhh shit...you must be an expert

  • @vettelover2009 Unfortunately, I can't take your word on any of what you just said. Yes, it's possible that you could be telling the truth, but there's no way for you to prove it to me. However, you can easily look past my profile pic, and onto my profile itself. You'll see that I have a lot more experience about cars, driving, etc than you previously thought, and also see that I don't spend much time sitting around with a lot of time on my hands, and that I'm rarely inside.

  • I love Ford better than Dodge and Chevy any day...

  • At least a Chevy doesn't chew a front tire off every 100 miles!!!

  • @garbagedisposal12 hahaha those independent front suspensions are a joke

  • @NascarMaterial One thing i wil lsay about the I-beams they are good for rallys and whatnot because as much as theyre woree out they wont fall apart or break.

  • YEAH! you pull those gutted trucks.

  • @WoWcurse104 Exactly ! Just what I was thinking... what a BS commercial. LOL

  • @WoWcurse104 that still way atleast two tons a piece

  • @WoWcurse104 Look at the rear truck, see how much the suspention travels? I highly doubt there gutted.

  • @WoWcurse104 there not gutted its true but the ford has the biggest moter option ive seen it on another ford commercial like this

  • @WoWcurse104 NHot gutted, thoes boxes on the older trucks were much stronger than today's, they didn't bucle under alot of weight, my 76 f-100 still goes strong!

  • @WoWcurse104

Ford owned that shit up because chevy and dodge couldnt meet the challenge

  • Real trucks don't brake. This is real American steel

  • ford...independent front suspension....i think the whole commercial is a lie!

  • @walkmen89 - pretty much is independent...they added 2 more joints on the front axels and have the arms instead of the solid axel like the rear

  • Comment removed

  • Why did they make trucks so damn ugly

  • @chkmag3610 ugly....? your fucking insane they looked better back then than they ever will today 1986 year owns all

  • @CrackinVTEC666 Go suck a dick homo

  • @chkmag3610 yea thats all you would say faggot cause you aint got shit you must think about sucking dicks alot

  • @CrackinVTEC666

Whoaaa. I know you have fantasies but keep them to yourself

  • @chkmag3610 what are you a fucking 5 year old get a life kid

  • @CrackinVTEC666 I'm sorry or calling you a homo and all that and didn't mean it but it is safe to say we are both being a little immature, and your right those old fords just keep on running

  • Now days people built ford tough with chevy stuff...(cheaper)

  • Has anyone bought this Ford pick-up truck before.

  • @preciousillusions201 Yep, I bought one the following year in 1986 red and white f250 and it still starts right up and drives good. I drive it everywhere. Take care of these and they will last!

  • the thing i hate, is the dodge he is towing is actually gutted. He is carrying a shell with 2 axles and 4 wheels. Trust me, all car companies used to do it.

  • @Mightylite94 but it still looks cool.

  • @blueovalfan23 yeah, just hard to like it when you know its fake lol

  • damn right

  • huh thats weird the dodge and chevy only look like 2 wheel drives huh why didnt the ford pull the 4 wheel drive dodge and chevy oh well

  • @southerncountryboy98 and they are completely gutted

  • A FORD truck treated right will never let you down

  • @GEARHEADGUY92 ANY truck treated right will never let you down...

  • @bcboy787 accept for a 6.0l powerstroke....

  • @dixiemudnut you mean powerJOKE?

  • @FDD2012 yeah, im a ford guy but the 6 leakers were crap

  • @dixiemudnut true. but them old 7.3s can haul i will admit it.

  • @FDD2012 ...i can testify to that, because i own one, a 95 powerstroke - 325k miles and it runs like the day i bought it, no major issues at all

  • @dixiemudnut yah.. a buddy of mine at my high school has a 93 powerstroke and its real nice. See its not about Ford Dodge or Chevrolet its about being an AMERICAN truck. thats what makes me proud. When i bought my truck i wanted a Chevrolet really bad but im still glad to have my 01 RAM knowing it was made in and profits the promise land.
