  • What a lovely chap. Exudes charm and honesty.

  • Oh Duncan & Deb bet your shaking your heads now

  • I eat this stuff pretty much with everything.

  • Domino's reggae reggae pizza!!!

  • Theo Paphitis, "very little hope".

Duncan Bannatyne, "no business in this"

There's a bottle of this sauce in front of me right now! Eat your words.

  • and now i must have a bootle in my house at all times

  • I am eating his "Reggae Reggae peanuts & cashews" right now. Damn good!

  • This sauce is in Supermarkets in Australia! Theo,Deb an Dunc? Wrong wrong wrong wrong!

  • Duncan "theres not a buisness here" Subway " weel take 250000 kilos a week" PWNED !!

  • I don't like that theo pathetas greek twat

  • haha 'Theres no buisness here :P' nice one

  • These people are so stupid ! - One day they are going to be broke !

  • I bet the rest of them feel like right ballbags now lol.

  • @benmcm9 -Thankgod they didnt invest

  • 5:24 i bet Duncan Bannatyne feels like an idiot now

  • we love u levi roots

  • hes worth £40m pounds now, incredible considering how unorganised his business was . good on him

  • Lied about his name, lied about the initial order, lied about the recipe.

    He just can't stop himself.

  • its a pity he stole the recipe from some restaurantuer in brixton

  • Two and a half MILLION liters..... "Actually, it's two thousand five hundred Kilos" - Oh, what an EPIC FAIL!

  • i think what was unique about this pitch was that Levi Roots WAS the brand for the product. His image, personality and song all went together with the sauce. He's made millions from it now with Peter J's help. He probably has sold 2,5 million litres by now !

  • It's one of those sauces you can put on almost any savoury dish and it works.

  • I have three favourite Dragons' Den episodes

    1. Uno Canada

    2. Reggae Reggae Sauce UK

    3. Str8ts Canada

  • You dont spell Ketchup Catchup.

  • @dilwich123 it's supposed to be 'catchup', they're catching up with him

  • @mampster93 oh right! Get it! SORRY ;)

  • And to think, he almost never got the investment.

  • "My name is Keith" LOL

  • this guy was in my colleage to day he is funny

  • My favourite thing about this is that 3 of the Dragons said this wouldn't happen. I've just finished some Reggae Reggae Chicken Pasta and currently have some Reggae Reggae Rasta Pasta Sauce in my cupboard... Which I bought from a supermarket... Which had several shelves with just Reggae Reggae products on...

  • thumbs up if ur eating something with it in

  • OMG 40%?!?!?!?!? ouch!! hes making so much money and he could have made more!

  • If he wasn't given the money will he have sang on his way out

  • theo said Levi's got vey little hope and he was the retail expert!

  • Duncan Bannatyne and Deborah Meaden disliked this video.

  • Proven WRONG SHUN THE NON BELIEVERS!

  • reggae reggae sauce is so cool i wonder why usain bolt is so fast.

  • Doesn't this just prove the Dragons know shit all? This sauce is in lots of supermarkets in Britain.. It's completely succeeded. So cheers Duncan and co.

  • @OnlyUseMaSpaz 2 dragons backed him! So that's why it was successful that quick. People seem to forget this, and keep banging on like he was totally dumped and the sauce made it big in an instant anyway.

All the dragons are of sound business mind and know a lot about shit others don't, but they are all individuals taking a gamble with their own money at the end of the day, and those two guys took the leap of faith and it paid off big time.

  • @OnlyUseMaSpaz its the second best selling sauce after hp sauce in england for last year

  • Saw this at the store today :)

  • "It's a hugely complex, difficult business to get into major supermarkets. Infact I'd go as far as to say you've got pretty well very little hope" lol I'm reading Sainsbury's placed an order the next day, lol

  • @JackPeagamTV LOL, please use write and right in the "right" context.

  • There couldn't possibly be any more win in this

  • Best 25k Peter Jones has ever spent!

  • It's so tasty!

  • l0l he was a idiot back then.. now he richer then all of these

    hes a fucking baws!!

  • the 3 idiots that declined it must feel soooo stupid. arrogant idiots thinking they are so clever and know it all then say things like "there is no business in this, there is no chance it can hit supermarkets". now its one of the most successful sauces in england. what experts you are ey?

  • @Thirty9Days There doing something right, There sitting there with millions of pounds whilst your sitting on you tube calling them idiots.

  • @Thirty9Days: Even the two that backed him admitted it was "a gamble" and "impossible challenge". It was Levi's charm that won them over, not their business sense. They were probably quite fortunate that it paid off - if they made a habit of these kinds of investments it wouldn't go so well the rest of the time. I think Levi's charisma worked on the rest of us too, and that was part of the reason for the success. It also helps that the sauce is bloody lovely.

  • i hate deborah urrrrghh!

  • Fuck Deborah

  • levi roots is smashing it, drinks and the lot now.

  • It is so nice i had to name it twice lol

  • i just had rasta pasta :P nom nom nom :D

  • Keith LOL!!

  • This product is actually now 30 million pounds.

  • LOL and he's sooo famous now!

  • dude i went to tesco's and ask for this it was out of fucking stock.... no seriously no buisness? dragons = retarded.

  • I bet he's loaded now.

  • Even dominos have in on there pizza ...

  • Boy done well

  • lovely to see that tight-fisted scot proved wrong.

i have reggae reggae sauce in my kitchen and that's some tasty tasty shit!!!!

  • Levi roots sells well in Tesco so owned dragons.

  • no business my ass

  • he's done well! so suprised they weren't all over it!!

  • @0946218123 Gosh, so sorry, I must have offended at least 1 person by making a spelling mistake, what a cunt I am.

  • @0946218123 Chill out bro

  • @areetimdan He's called theo!

  • @areetimdan Theo Paphitis looool

  • @ATBparkour Yes, well done, you've noticed I made a spelling mistake which has been pointed out twice before. Trollocaust.

  • @areetimdan haha believe you me mate im nowhere near a troll or a grammar nazi, but your comment made me laugh so much

  • @ATBparkour Ha, fair enough. Leo's a way better name anyway... =]

  • @areetimdan Or reggae reggae pizza, or reggae reggae tomato sauce, or reggae reggae BBQ sauce, or... well you get the idea :P

  • @areetimdan

    Leo ?

dude i think ya mean theo paphitis

  • @areetimdan Theo Paphitis...

  • Comment removed

  • Theo you tit!!

  • Duncan "Levi there's no business in this" LOL

  • @MrDwigz How wrong was he...

  • I would have made him the offer if i had that much money! :) excellent investment for 50000!

  • I love the Reggae Reggae Sauce. HP Tomato Ketchup is to bland and boring for me.

  • Hahaahahaa, Sorry Levi, this won't make supermarkets, it'll be a smalltime product.

Just goes to show that they don't know what they are on about.

  • Best sauce ever! :D

  • very good sauce

  • Haha, the thing is, Debra is now the second richest dragon, after Duncan who is by far the richest. You idiots!!!!

  • One of the greatest Dragon's Den success stories. Blessed

  • Deborah Meaden must be kicking herself now.

  • the dragons are so stingy, they offer fuck all money for most of their business...

  • It might not mean much to others who aren't interested in astrology, but I find it really really interesting that the two dragons who backed Levi were a Scorpio (Farleigh) and a Pisces (Jones). Levi is a Cancer. None of them (presumably) knew about eachother's signs but maybe that explains the strange connection they had. Amazing!

And incidentally the rest of the dragons were not water signs.

  • Dragens den canada is alot better

  • @JustGoForItXD er...how?! they take an average 51% of the business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @hyllaf well ya but the dragons are funny and know alot more about what there doing and talk more about the talk

  • debra knows NOITHING about business

  • yeah, i bet them 3 feel like right idiots - shows peter and richey were the sharpest dragons! Levi Roots=biggest suceess story on D.D. hes everywhere now!!!

  • A scout from the BBC discovered Levi at a food trade show and got him signed up for Dragons Den. What's the bull about him stealing the recipe? If there was truth in that then he would not be the man he is today! Someone else prob trying to cash in. Saddos.

    LEVI FOR PM!

  • And Levi goes from strength to strength!! Haha to po faced Deborah, Grumpin Bannantyne and Theo Foetus!! U showed them Levi!! We absolutely adore u!! Whatever nxt? Music, TV, Tours, food, more sauce, Dominos pizzas and more...

  • HAHA I bet Deborah is kicking herself now xD

  • i love how he said he had no hope ahhaha HOW WRONG WERE U

  • You have to laugh at the dragons who burned him. Bet they're kicking themselves now.

  • For me the biggest reason I would invest in this guy is because I feel he could sell the sauce whether its amazing or mediocre. A good salesmen will sell and thats all you need.

  • get some sauce . Its the bollox..

  • i love how the video was ruined before viewing just by the info given by the uploader.

  • i hope duncan and bredra shat their pants when they saw how big he is

  • 2 people can't handle Reggae Reggae Sauce.

  • There must have been at least an ounce of weed in the product. *GRAB*

  • Jamaicans do not have one name, Pinky, Jolly Bungee, Precious, CamCam I have yet to hear a single name for any jamaican

  • its so twice he had to name it twice lol this man is a legend!!

  • Deborah Meaden: "It's not going to be on a big enough scale for me"

Lol. You got that one a bit wrong eh Deborah!!

  • @Webofscience she blows ball sacks, the wrinkled bitch just blows ball sacks for a living

  • You Know He stole this recipe from someone else, it was in Sky News!!!!

  • @TheFootballFan09 idiot..

  • @TheFootballFan09 a lot of others have used others idea's, made it a commercial success, thats life in the business world, it happens all the time no big deal,

  • i just bought Reggae Reggae sauce and its amazing

  • this stuff tastes like heaven

  • this guys lips look like he kissed wet cement

  • Thumbs up if you got this video last week on the English Listening test dutchies!

  • 'you have very little hope of getting into major supermarkets'

    HAHA, OWNED THEO PROFITEROLE

  • Even our Morrisons in our very small town has this stuff :)

  • @solidsnake1211 haha yea u live in scotland:)

  • @callumn397 No I don't :P

I live the complete opposite, in South West England :3

  • In Holland we got this at the listening test :P everybody lold when he came in with his awesome reggae reggae sauce

  • Lol precies hetzelfde filmpie als ik dinsdag had bij de luistertoets!!! XD

  • best dd moment and product

  • how do you go see the dragons without having confirmed your figures?!!! oh keith, that was a close one!!

  • im in canada i wanna try the sauce

  • the sauce is AMAZING like BBQ sauce but with a spice hint and a little ginger in it, also when you try this sauce first time you will say WOW?.

  • I'm eating that sauce with my sandwitch right now!

  • lmao so funny when he leaves 9:13

  • fair play to levi, good on him, he's one of those guys you really want to see do well.

  • man that lady is a B**ch.

  • i bet the dragons that didn't invest feel gutted today haha

  • reggae reggae sauce is so good, they named it twice!

  • I don't understand these Dragons...He has a good order and there would be other much bigger orders had he gotten the money he needed...The sauce is excellent I'm sure and this man is one of the best chefs out of the Caribbean, with a show on The Cooking Channel...I'm glad Peter Jones and Richard Farley made Levi an offer, and a good offer at that...I wish Peter had offered Levi the full $50,000 for 20 or 30%, but the great thing is that Levi came out successfully and he will make lots of money.

  • @fishandfestival Peter clearly saw something in the product that Duncan, Deborah and Theo all missed and Richard was undecided. Peter must have wanted Richard to invest as well as Peter was willing to take it on and its a huge business now.

  • @fishandfestival He didn;t ask for $50,000 he asked for £50,000

  • @fishandfestival

Levi is loaded right now haha.

  • @fishandfestival He's already made lots of money, in fact he's a multi-millionaire =]

  • @fishandfestival He didn't have a good order to start with. 2,500kg at wholesale prices is nothing. He was lucky here because everybody knows Reggae Reggae Sauce as "that bloke with the dreads off Dragons Den," this show made him

  • @fishandfestival It wasn't an order nothing was signed and also his maths isn't that good either.

  • Levi Roots is a great caribbean chef and a very cool guy...That was a very good idea by Levi to introduce his product to the Dragons...Two and a half million litres of Reggae Reggae Sauce, as the first major order, is excellent, to say the least...I don't know what Deborah is talking about, that Levi doesn't know how to run the business and what he needed to do to make it a viable business...It's a pity Levi made such a mistake re what the order was for his sauce...It was a genuine mistake.
