The old one Renault 5 Turbo1 and the Renault 5 Turbo2 are racing cars they have RWD and a mid mounted engine. So it is an MR.

The Renault 5 alpine had no turbo and FWD.

The Renault 5 alpine turbo had FWD

The Renault 5 GT turbo type 1 and type 2 had FWD

The Renault 5 GT turbo blue sport (williams) had FWD

They all competed on the track and rally circuits.

@scoot24925 .. to right they are good engines had my 5 gt turbo 14 years ago and had it for 4 years , all the other parts had to be replaced but the engine held on, £13000 grand spent on it in the end lol

God Dammit....every time I watch this video I feel like....woooo.....Respect to the gt turbo driver...only that he stayed right behind the Megane all the way means he's a real driver...oh and I saw someone say that the gt produces 120hp....this isn't exactly right...see it produced 120hp originaly but everybody tuned the turbocharger...the gt had a very easy tunable turbo...example...my R5 gt turbo produces 140 bhp....a friend's had 250 bhp...but anywhere near that power is suicidal for a FRD

it doesn't matter that Megane is faster....it is 2.0L and the R5 is only 1.4L....and yet if you drive an R5 you feel that you have the power to overtake the Megane....and even if you fail.....man this car is nearly 20years old and can still piss this new Megane....I personaly have an R5 1.4L...produces 140bhp and I can tell you...when you drive it you are the best of all new racing cars....the only real problem of the R5 is the brake....if you don't hit it the right moment you are fucked.....!!

at my engineering college we dropped a 3ltr into a Corsa, modified the bodywork and made it 4WD.

it was insane on the track, at 1st there was some insane understeer, but minor adjustmetns made the handling(even in high speed corning) rather balanced.

my mates got a saab 93 its had a few things done and is about 450 bhp standard fuel, bit more with v power, its changed my opinion of saabs, it sounds real nice as well, a couple of evos have been left its third gear is awsome, but saabs are pretty famous for their 50 70 time ,well used to be,
