  • Nokia go feestyle wohooo way to go !!! the one and only right now on the market thats trully open sourse and practicaly independent is NOKIA N900. Well its not just a phone its more than that its tiny computer/beast ... :))) Maybe some of u will start think and do ur own research insted of follow what u c on TV. Unless ur not one of thoese teastless iphone lovers ...euuu)) those guys r so lookalike. . Good luck !!!

  • The video goes into a basic explanation of what a SIM card is, the video isn´t designed with those already very familiar with mobile devices. However, if you´re based in the US, and need an easy way to explain someones options for their next device, you´d do a lot worse than pointing them at this vid.

  • i changed from nokia to iphone where every thing locked :(

  • they do it for US..so that they will buy nokia they don't need to change number,..

  • ...

I mean, really? oh my gosh, the SIM tecnology is WAY better then that old crap called CDMA.

Everytime you change a celphone, you carry EVERYTHING to it, like SMS, contacts, your phone number and whatever.

Didn't know there were people who havent heard of it.

  • This video must be for those dumb yankees who think that there is no CELL Phone other than Motorola in the world.

  • lol don't forget motorola isn't in a good momment, specially there on US. :P But i understood what you meant.

  • @u2ubex

it is. most people here think that your phone number is stored in your phone and that the carrier has to activate your phone. well actually, the sad thing is that its partially true here since the largest carrier is cdma.

  • Can we call these as Freedom phones ;)

  • @oilinki3 rofl

  • 2:40 nice bottom

  • do americans not have unlocked phones over there.

  • This makes me smile. Thank you Nokia for trying a little bit harder here in the US.

  • such a shame ... it's like explaining a computer to monkeys ... why it's like that .. :D

  • i lol'd

  • Yes, this video is targeted to Americans, they are a very stupid cosumers and Nokia had to explain them what is sim card and what they could do with it.

  • europe phones have always been unlocked

    this video is for Americans...

  • Actually unlocked devices usually have a better price. Locked devices look cheaper if you only pay attention to the subsidized price the day you get it... and you forget about the monthly payments of your contract.

  • evry1 knows this, but it's a great video anyway

  • Comment removed

  • this is like phones for dummies, like somebody wouldn't know what a sim card is...

  • This video is targeted at the average American consumer, since they mentioned American mobile operators in the Video, and unfortunately, the average American mobile user is truly so stupid they they would need a SIM card explained to them.

  • guess so :D

  • unlock the virtual qwerty on the n97 first then post videos

  • I agree with you ! hahaha

I saw the Virtual Keyboard on Conference, but the final product doesn't have it, shaaaame !

  • Ummm......isnt that how it is anyway?

  • i hope orange won't lock nokia 5530 when it's gonna be on the market :)

  • they will lock it...
