@casunshine84 I apologize if I gave the impression that I thought stereoscopy was a new idea - I'm well aware that it goes back quite a while. I just hadn't thought of this particular technique for making stereoscopic images in Blender, and as I'd never seen a tutorial on this approach, I thought I might as well make one. I'm glad I could provide some laughs with my foolishness.
@1taken I think it's brilliant... I didn't think of this method either... then again, I'm just beginning to use Blender... but it's an easy way to jump on the new/old 3D bandwagon... like out of nowhere... why has 3D become so much more popular than before?! I don't get it!! I mean, I can finally see the effect, but really... it's not that different... but I think your method is pretty good, makes sense...

@jipje44 Well, I have an "Fn" key to modify the "M" to get a numpad zero.
You have a similar modifier for sure.
