  • dazza944, what happend to your koi? usually koi out live their owners.

  • awesome i like it...

  • kind of ugly

  • dude..... thats freakin awesome

  • 1.You need Clear Water for Koi fish.

    2. 1Koi=1.000 Gallon

  • @LordEcon SOMEONE HAS BEEN READING TOO MANY BOOKS I THINK..... YES I AGREE U NEED CLEAR WATER FO KOI BUT ONLY FOR VIEWING PLEASURE. KOI CAN HAPPILY LIVE IN CLEAR OR MURKY WATER, PROVIDING THE WATER QUALITY IS TOP NOTCH THATS ALL THAT MATTERS, & AS FOR 1000 GALLONS PER KOI, THATS CRAP, IVE HAD A 1500 GALLON KOI POND FOR TEN YEARS, HOME TO 15 HAPPY HEALTHY KOI. AS LONG AS THEYRE FED, & LOOKED AFTER PROPERLY, THEYRE LIKE PIGS IN SHIT.

  • pretty fish pond and fish!

  • @pinkstardust99 thanks

  • pretty cool

  • What if it rains?

  • you should put a water fall in the back of the pond with some rocks.

  • @PortugeesDaBest thanks for the suggestion.i'll be putting a bakki shower soon instead of waterfalls

  • @dhoncave your welcome

  • how did you seal the brick, looks awsome nice job !

  • @bubbabouyi i use enamel epoxy since we use it on our barge and tugboats.if the paind could survive the high seas, then i'm sure it can survive the pond...:-).anyway there are lots of waterproofing paints available, just avoid those elastomeric paint because they peel off easily

  • could you please tell us the timing of breeding the koi, which partners to choose(which is male and female). and how can i distiguish if the female is already carrying eggs? thanks. hope you give me tips

  • damn those fish look happy as hell

  • Nice job!Looks sweet

  • where do you buy your supplies in the philippines?

  • You could do with more plants,

  • seems like there is waterfiltrating in to the concrete, simple fix is to get a pond liner and glue it arround the walls that will help alot for arround $160 bucks.

  • walls will take damage over time and you will rot the house walls out like that. ouch man. pond needs to be drained dried and completely sealed up to the highest water mark. then refill. You could even use a sealant with a bright blue for effect.

  • A man ! you have to clean your pond and put a UV-pond filter to clean the green water.

  • i want one of those for my turtles

  • make sure the perimeter it tight, turtles are sneaky trust me

  • 1,000 Gallons? For something that big? its probably like 1.5' - 2' deep and you still cant see the bottom! Man you better get a filter - that water could be toxic, If you have some plants - that wouldn't be such a deal because the plants would get rid of most of the toxins, but the pond will still be dirty.

  • I think youll have a problem if the pond's drainage system malfunctions and it rains...

  • thats very very nice instal the water pump its important to make the water safe filter its option thanks

  • hope its sealed well. seepage into your house won't be much fun.

  • no shit huh pool paint atleast

  • boring !

get a pacu or something !

    there so lovable :)

  • weird pond....

  • So you can swim with the fishes.

  • You better get the pump and the filter fast cause your fishes can die

  • You can use a Sunterra Brand filter system. That is what I have at home and my water is super clear. I think it is called a Bio-filter. Sunterra also has water treatment that is all natural to clear the water. Buy it at Menard's or can go to their website?

  • Great pond. especially if your bedroom is on the other side of that window!

  • too bad t'was our dining room...:-)actually friend the original house plan was my bedroom was supposed to be under the dining room, underground, then the pond would have glass on the side where my room is so i can watch the kois underwater...too bad 10 years ago my dad was afraid of floods getting into my underground room he didn't go on with my idea...:-(

  • cool pond gives me some real design ideas

  • oi you dont have a pump or a filter thats bad you cant have koi pond without a pump and filter

  • If u want clear water your gonna need a uv lamp maybe a 10 watt lamp will probally do the job for a 1000 gallon pond.

  • You need a filter of some kind to keep beneficial bacteria going. It will clear that water right up. Plus the aeration a filter will provide will benefit those fish greatly. For your set-up I'd recommend a canister filter that can sit on the ground in front and to the side of your pond. Good luck!

  • just starting to build a 30,000 gallon pond a nexus 300's and an eazy pod should keep mine clear.

  • is it true that koi only get as big as their environment lets them

  • yeah it's called stunting them and it prematurely kills them

  • i love koi

  • wow cool i got a 30 gallon pond it has 2 koi and 3 goldfish

  • 30 gallon? I hope you at least mean 300 lol

Mines only 500 and I constantly wish I made it bigger

  • Great job, your koi look happy. How are they doing now?

  • asa man ni dapit ning imong koi pond bro?

  • You could make that into a small pool..

  • i could...but i think it's too shallow for a pool...a kiddie pool maybe

  • asa dapit ni nga pond bro?

  • Dude i can hear a peacock in the background.

  • i got pacu in my other video Ydoc101lol

  • @Ydoc101lol would make a much better giant juccuzi instead.. talking 16 heads
